lolz..can really relate to dis, remembered I with some friends nicknamed some gals for my area with 'super eagles player' then. Starting from enyama to our striker then, makinwa. Even had skipo(JJ). The funniest thing be say some other friend wey dey close to us don't even know their real names except those nicknames. You will just hear something like'av u seen martins(obafemi martins) today?'. Seriously very funny time!

For sure. Could remember growing up with my siblings. Oh my God! my sisters were good at it.
There was this woman who was very big...they named her Yokozuna.

A short guy in the next flat was named Danku

A beautiful woman in the next building (of blessed) memory was named Orente, because she was smart.

A guy who does a lot of "I too know"(ITK) was named Bebeto.

When I got married I personally named one of our neighbours Oluaye Deeper who is always looking serious grin

reminds me of Baba Ara. that man listens to the evergreen hits of baba ara every morning. He eventually got to know about the nickname via our other neighbors who mistakenly told him, he liked the name tho

You don't want to imagine what happened when finally mumsie decoded who we were calling oldest bachelor angry

The lecture that followed from mumsie no be here
I guess those were days when mothers and fathers scold and advice children when they act untowardly! Today the average father and mother will just laugh and forget it.
