In Aba ATM dispense 18,200 when i withdrew 20,000 2 new N100 notes. Ibos and fraud are like 5 and 6.

It is even possible for the bank to dispense fake notes to the public and at any time you bring such to them, they'd reject it. Remember, the operator might intentionally swap the genuine one for the fake. Anything and everything is possible in Nigeria.

this happened to me 2 months ago, I complained to the bank several times and nothing has been done about it.

This country is just too corrupt. Money is not expected to circulate more than 5 times, after which it is expected to be burnt, but not in Nigeria, those fat cats in the bank will recirculate it by replacing wit new notes.

why is she shouting? that 1k is still spendable. i was paid this tattered and discoloured1k note from an eco bank atm few years ago. dunno what to do with it, its collecting dust on the shelf.

I handle 6 terminals and I always sort for those 6, each machine will spend almost 5million in a day (mind you, I don't use a sorting machine but the normal counting machine so as to load money into ATMs before these same set of people start shouting inside the banking hall "all your machines are not working, what's going on Most people just think it's all about loading the machine and it works automatically. At least before going to social media to start talking shii, consider the person behind the machine.

Now am at work, left my family at home on a Sunday just because machines must pay. counted and sorted all these in less than an hour.

Don't you collect your salary every month? If you can't do the job, then resign. You can't put this kind of money in an ATM, it's clear incompetence on the part of the banker. You are clearly scamming Nigerians by doing this nonsense.

Please, let people who can do the job without complaint take over. You get paid every month, yet you make excuses for doing your job. Lol, don't think anybody is going to pity you man.

UBA is well known for doing this, especially UBA Igbolerin, Badagry Express Way Lagos. I stopped withdrawing money from there after they gave me bad money on 3 occasions. I prefer to use Wema Okokomaiko or Stanbic Beside UBA Igbolerin.

The other day, an Ecobank ATM paid me a fake 1000 naira note.

same thing once happened to me. Had to walk into the bank to complain. They denied that their ATM don't dispense such torn money. I was bit pissed. Had to tell them to check the CCTV just to clarify the veracity of what happened...turned out I was right.

Mou'fuckaz gave me some good notes and "sorry...sorry..."

When others were getting bad notes you thought your case would be different?
It's either that or you needed something to show social media. Note that CBN is in charge of printing and minting. Commercial banks don't generate money by printing hence what you pay in is what you withdraw.

Union Bank ATM in Uyo dispensed worse to me years back.

Just because you haven't experienced it, does not mean it doesn't exist.

I know one of the qualities of a good ATM operation in the dispensing of mint notes or ATM compliant notes. It is even a CBN sanctionable offence for any bank to load such mutilated and dirty note in an ATM for customers.

OP should mention name of the bank boldly for appropriate action. Even if the bank calls you to settle you tell them 'NOT IN MY COUNTRY'

If you handle the job or do it properly ask your employers to transfer you or alternatively quit.

This what I hate... Call out the bank openly and name the exact ATM location so they bank can put a stop to this. Showing us the note without the bank's name does not change or resolve anything.
