Believe13:Your friend will have to go Provincial Nomination route. If she is able to get the CLB 7 IELTS requirement (minimum band 6 in each) to be eligible for Express Entry, then the Federal Skilled Trades route may also work. Even at that, she may still need a nomination to boost her CRS points for her to be invited to apply for PR visa. In addition, she may have to start looking at how to get some certification in tailoring/fashion designing to prove her skill if she doesn't already have one. Sometime in May this year, IRCC conducted a Trades-specific draw with 199 points cut-off; if they keep repeating it then your friend may even have a chance without Provincial Nomination. |

I just registered for express entry and the system tells me I did not meet the requirements which i am sure I did. Age = 12 Education=22 Work experience=9 (I decided to use one year experience due to ease of getting reference letter) Test of English = 24 total Score = 67/100 What could be the problem? i even opened another profile to change it to 2 yrs experience which will take points to 69/100 still the same Profile Ineligible problem |

freeradical:Way to go!! That is not bad at all. Exchange rate is a huge factor. Even found 700k+ on lufthansa directly from their website for family of four too. Concerning the passport, i'm sure you'll have it soon. God that started the work will certainly complete it on a big note! |

cochtrane:I am single so i entered 12500. isn't that right? Also i used ND +HND which is equivalent to three yr diploma and one year postgraduate certificate. how do I fill this in the express entry form, i suspect this could be the problem. |

eyoiba:WES usually requires three business days to update account. However, you can confirm on your account if WES truly received the transcript. Sign in to your profile, select "account menu" then "track my package", input your DHL tracking number and search. It will reveal if the package was received. If received, you account will be updated latest tomorrow if not today. Cheers |

bigbroda:Hi, I am in the same shoe. What do I select for my ND & HND? I can only see Bachelors or three years diploma but HND is more than that and my profile keeps saying ineligible even though I have met the requirements. How did u go about this please |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by cochtrane(m): 5:46am On Aug 15, 2017 |
kissoflife:Can you look at this for reference? You need to input it exactly as evaluated by WES https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/388#55689419 Alternatively, I suggest you post your WES evaluation so guys can offer advice. You know the format of inputting has changed a bit and there's no more option for selecting "Two or more certificates". Please make sure to blot out personal details when posting the evaluation. And you'll remove it altogether afterwards. |

walexlo78:You probably should. Trust me, I know how such passports look like. The VO will certainly not have the time to make out on your passport that you didn't spend more than 6 months in those countries. You would have helped a lot by delineating this in a form. So, CSE could be good. |

Greetings to everyone. Some idea came to mind and I need clarification. I am anticipating that my wife's ECA might take forever so I checked the CRS calculator and discovered that we might be able to have a score higher than the last draw 433. My question is can I dive into the pool without her ielts and ECA ? If eventually we got ITA, and are not claiming points for her education and test of English can this be a problem? Many thanks. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Dammiehar(f): 7:25am On Aug 15, 2017*. Modified: 7:47am On Aug 15, 2017 |
funshobabs:Spouse's ECA and IELTS are optional. Its only for you to boost your points if you want, its completely optional. I got ITA without my hubby's ECA or IELTS, likewise many other people, so take a dive into the pool without delay, there won't be any problem post-ITA. |

. Although IQAS has acknowledged receipt of my transcript last month and that's it.

. Examiner tried signaling me to calm down but I will not just follow the prompt. Oh I skipped, by the time I was handing over my passport during the ID check, guy asked can I see your ID please, in my tensed self, I said "thank you" like twice while passing the passport! Then I thought, oh boy, you don de fvck up. That thought alone aggravated my already tensed nerves.
