ASUU strike doesn't affect transcript. It is NASU that does.

Hmmm even though its ASUU on strike, the Non Academic Staff of some schools thought it wise to join the strike undecided

At your first post after mummyjaygirls asked for clarification I immediately went online and checked them out. When I saw where they wrote debit card cannot be accepted I was forlorn and went back to Iqas and actually paid despite my sceptism at the new delivery times.I actually chose them since they do not verify if the mail has the proper markings as the news I got from my school as per their Wes proceedure was not encouraging.
When this your second clarification came I was quite mad at myself for going ahead to pay at Iqas and am actually thinking of cancelling the transaction with my bank if possible and going back to bcit/ices.
Before I go ahead and cancel of it is possible kindly confirm you used Nigerian debit card for your payment .
Thanks

God bless you for this. They even offer rush service and accept your copy of the certificate by email. Funny that's how IQAS was introduced on this thread with.10.working days on point. Until they got overwhelmed. grin. I.would advice that prospective applicants try this one and give us feedback.

Guys, please I have a question regarding POF and the need for LOE.

1. About half the PoF is from the money I saved up in my office's cooperative society. I used the money to buy T.bills and the T.bills is about 2 months old now.

2. I have a letter from my bank in the CiC format. The letter mentions my T.bills and the dom account, which has the other half of the money.

3. I did a detailed LOE attaching my payslips to show that the money was deducted from my salary monthly and my statement of account to show that the Cooperative society paid the money into my account.

My question is, do I really need to explain the T.bills money with all these supporting documents? Is it advisable to discard the LOE and simply attach the Bank's letter and the T.bills certificate?

You don't need LOE, tbills has been in ur name for 2 months, ur bank gave evidence,

Wetin u wan explain again?

What u should be concerned about sef is checking that all ur docs are in the right place holders. Goodluck

Hello House.... Here's my Timeline

Aor: July 5
Medical passed: July 21
Ip1: (I missed it)
NA: July 22
ADR: August 1 (RPRF)
Ip2: August 17
PPR: August 22
(Family of 2 but I'm Adding a dependant now)

My application was nothing close to perfect but when God is involve protocols are suspended. We made a huge deposit of about 95% of our pof 3 weeks to submission, that alone gave me sleepless nights but I just had to trust God. We decided not to write a letter to explain that cos we realized expalnaing sometimes put you out there for too much screening and really there was nothing to explain except lies.
Secondly out of my desperacy to get more points before ITA I declared that I had a relative in Canada who's actually my cousin but I ticked her as my aunty cos I was not given that cousin option and I wanted points from adaptability. When it was time to proof the relationship after receiving ITA, my eyes cleared that have actually given a wrong information but I went ahead to submit all her documents and this was over looked and not counted as misrepresentation.
Thirdly, when my husband tried to pick up his reference letter from his place of work, the company insisted on giving a letter covering just 3 years and we already declared in our application that he has been with them for 4 years but the company said he worked as a contract staff the first year so they won't be including that. We sha collected letter like that and We never wrote a letter to explain this too.
My fingers hurts already but trust me there are still so many errors, like verifying with Wes instead of PBEC and so on. I even forgot to declare that I was ones denied a U.K. Visa. Don't have any travel history doh.
This journey has taught me a lot of things and please let's try so hard to reduce our explanations especially when not asked. May the Lord perfect this journey for us all.

Hello good people...thank you so much for all your response, and congrats to the new batch of PPR recipients. So happy for you guys.

So i calculated my score on the link provided and my maximum score is 438 while hubby is 408 using the highest IELTS scores, so that makes me the principal applicant. Should I just go for PNP straightaway when I apply or still chill in the EE pool.

Reading through posts and I'm feeling like I should have done that before submitting...

1. I did not upload ECA as there was no specific slot for that (someone stated it should be uploaded with credentials and it makes sense o, just wish I saw this earlier)

What should I do now? Should I send the ECA as additional document Help!!!

Hello house,
I am preparing to start this process so I have been researching. No. 1 on this post caught my attention. I am a medical doctor and I plan to use my housemanship (internship) and Nysc experience to claim points. These are not permanent or full time employments. I think I have seen some posts where ppl used their Nysc job experience to claim points.
Please I need to know my chances as these are the only job experiences I have. I will really appreciate responses. Thank you

I'm pretty sure you can use your NYSC. People have done that here successfully. Provided you can get a work reference letter which reflects that the job was on a permanent basis, you shouldn't have a problem. When it comes to work experience, it all comes down to what's in the letter and what the employer has put down for you.

The Last 7 draws were: 423, 415, 413, 449, 440, 441, 433

Do the permutations yourself.

I'd advise you chill a little. Enter the pool first. Observe 4 to 5 draws. Even if you have the money, PNP is a bumpy route.

All noc codes are found here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

You might want to click the descending arrow under "Skill level or type" to sort Noc D and C first.

Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

in the same type of job as your primary NOC
within the last 10 years
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
You must show that you did the duties set out in the occupational description in the NOC. This includes most of the main duties listed.

NYSC and Housemanship are paid. Baba just get a good reference letter

Hello All, Please I still need some clarification on this:

So I have finally gotten my ECA from WES completed (HALLELUYAH) after 4 months of back and forth with OAU and I am preparing for my IELTS test. So I need help with the following as I begin to gather the necessary documents for post ITA.

1. NOC- I am yet to sight an NOC for my work experience. My work was logistics HSE / data management related and the only NOC that seems to be close is 1215 but its only one item from the whole NOC description that I can link my work to. Other jobs done can be linked to NOC 1241 (Administrative assistant) and NOC 1411. So which NOCs do I use?

Use the NOC whose job descriptions best match your work. Job titles don't matter much.

ok laugh while you can, I don't mind. What I was trying to do was combine all my job roles into one. I did fleet data management for over 7 years, then progressed to fleet compliance with HSE standards such as vehicle and driver tracking, handling all cases of driver violations, driver training programs for old and new drivers, journey management training programs for staff and drivers, etc. Hope this clarifies..

and at the bolded is what I was asking for help on. I have tried finding an NOC that aligns to the job roles I have done or the job descriptions, but the only NOC I found 1215 has just one line out of the whole duties detailed there which tallies with my job role duties and I got to understand here that the NOC needs to tally at least 80% to be accepted and I don't want to get mis representation on this post ITA, hence why I am asking for help and clarification now.

After submitting my application, I had a lot of fears and doubts but someone told me something, he said there is "no perfect application but there is a perfect God, trust Him". That's all I can say. I will come and share my testimony here as well.

Although i still feel the LOE placeholder is a tool to be explored.
