In African culture, we are meant to accept all types of guests that we get.
If you truly come from an African home then you remember the times’ guests would come from nowhere and you’d be left washing the dishes that seemed to never end? They would sit for hours as they gossiped about mama and how her husband thrashes her every once in a while. You get the picture, visitors in a typical African homewere like part of the home furniture that existed. Now for obvious reasons some of us don’t seem to quite get the picture because we appreciate space, we want to be informed when you choose to come over and some of us just don't like guests.
× Here are the types of guests we all get tired of.

1. The one who just appears without calling, like seriously?

2. The one who comes and talks nonstop and you get so tired.

3. The lazy one who never offers help even if they are there everyday.

4.One who treats your place like a hotel, like they only drink fizzy water.

5. Ones who comes to only get gossip about your life.

6. The one who comes everyday but never contributes to anything and they eat your food.

7. One who comes and wants to change the channel, like is this your house?

8. These ones love to be dropped backhome yet they came to your place unannounced.

9. The one who comes and sleeps over for days and they hadn’t even planned to.

10. The dirty one, they just come and leave all utensils dirty and don’t clean up

11. Drunkard who sees your place as the chill out spot, oh and they drink your booze.

12. The guy who always comes with his side dish to use your house like a brothel.

I personally don't visit people without calling them first.

It's simply courtesy.

And besides, I don't want to get to someone's house and find out they are not at home or they are busy with something and don't want to be interrupted.

You still have the control of who visits your home. People know clearly where they are not welcomed and one has to balance between hospitality and being firm.

People who visit without calling are so annoying angry
Courtesy demands you call to find out if the person is home or even in the mood to see you. I have this friend who only calls when he's in front of my house and he can talk someone to death. I've tried telling him to call before coming but he won't listen.

No i think you sound more like a fault finder enjoy your lonely and stingy life .Life is all about sharing and tolerating others no matter how unpleasant friends are always appreciate them .When you age and everyone abandons you like a piece of old rag you will value people that come then even if they are so annoying pray never to be lonely
