Well it is about openness. I pick his calls and he picks mine and the sex of the caller is never an issue. There is no reason or basis for suspicion. He can keep female friends even if i dont keep male friends. We both know what boundaries are and we try not to cross them.

I think girls are attracted to 'bad guys' because of their perceived 'power traits' i.e. confidence, alpha male energy, status, charisma, being a challenge to attain etc which they find exciting and it's usually for more short term relationships whereas they may seek out the nicer guys (who may be perceived as less exciting) for something more long term/commited. (Guys do this too, how many times have you heard a guy that's spent most of his younger years indulging in all kinds of debauchery strictly wanting to settle down with a virgin lol)

*Not saying nice guys can't be confident or give off alpha male energy but they tend to come across as a lot more submissive which may be perceived as 'weak'. The nice ones who don't give off a submissive energy as much probably fare better and they exist but aren't as common
