Jesus said

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

What is dis one saying sef?

Nigeria should do same.

At least we can be a guaranteed one generation of people who thinks with their brain and not their ass.

Religion is doing great harm to this country.

Our greedy Pastors have twisted everything including the Bible, and how to say prayers. It's so absurd. angry
actually a more liberal approach would have been to make religion optional for them as kids then when they grow up and are more wise choose the particular religion they want to follow.this is too rash and drastic. Or are they trying to practice a unified religion in China, like only Buddha religion?

Better!

They need to stop brainwashing there future generation with Middle-East stories about how men died for there sins in Asia!

Nigeria need to take away religion from our schools and constitution
it cannot be possible again because its a lost battle. Religion and culture are intertwined in Nigeria and the indoctrination starts from the cradle.

Haven't you seen men with PhDs who are widely travelled and exposed hold their Islam so tightly and haven't you seen parents wearing hijab for 5 months old baby that still has a plain mind?

I kinda understand where they are going with this. They do not want kids whose choices are made by their parents brainwashed before they are old enough to make their choices. This will reduce the number of parents that go to church too cos who will watch their wards while they are in church?

The good thing is, most people who are really religion inclined will spend more time reading the bible by themselves and passing on their understanding to their wards. The kids too can read and digest on their own...over all, silly translation will be greatly reduced. Better Christians breed...hallelujah grin

The presence of subjugation and dogmatism makes any form of religion unattractive. Literally, there's no difference between authoritarianism and religion.

Personally, I'm longing for a world where people will be original and spontaneous in their actions not one - as presently obtained in very many places - where uniformism and order are the order of the day.

The new world is heading towards non-conformism. Don't worry, non-conformism doesn't encourage unconscientiousness. Free will remains one among the best of gifts God gave to mankind. He who denies other(s) free will and fairness is automatically a devil personified.

As homo sapiens, we all remains imperfect manifestation of the perfect being - God.

The Chinese government was praised when it banned Ramadan fasting and names that are Islam-related. I will expect this to be treated as the right of the Chinese government to install the religion they deem good for its people.

You can't compare Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.

*Saudi is the number one oil producing country in the world. Nigeria is at number 13 position.

*Saudi produces 11 million barrels of oil a day. Nigeria produces 1.9 million barrels a day (it drops lower when militants are blowing up pipelines).

*Saudi Arabia has a population of 32 million. Nigeria has a population of 180 million.

Do the math.

http://bible.us/rom1.21-24.kjv Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: The bible is True in every sense of the Word. It gives us also the great ability to CHOOSE

Don't get caught up in mediocrity and profanity.

You never hear Moslems come to any platform with such profanity under any latitude of enticing words to put down their religion. Makes me wonder....."who is training YOU"

Happy Sunday!!!

religion is never our problem. Nigerians will always find one thing to blame or the other. Our problem is we ourselves. Me, you and every other person. Is there any religion that promotes theft, bribery and corruption? There are always extremist in any region but does it mean that there is no progression in those region. Nigerians at large have chosen to be non progressive. It's a thing of choice and decision and not religion or science. The only thing religion has got the tendency to breed is either peace or war. That's the case with where you find extremist. Even the ones that shout Allah Allah in the middle east still think progressive. I have the opportunity to engage some.

Religion should be by choice..... Nobody is born a Muslim or a Christian we all practice the religion of our parents and accept it as the right one, without making any findings

this is where I get angry when people fail to understand the best resource available to any nation is Human resource and not natural resources. Check nations that are changing the world, they are doing so because of their population... China, India and even US before now. Do you know how many talents are in this country but a few sect will never allow these talents do something meaningful. Check other nations, you will see how they are happy to attract talents and develop them. Are you aware you can become a Canadian if you have a an ingenious prototype? It's not about oil or gold, it's about the people.
Re: China Bans Children From Attending Churches by Lordave: 10:42am On Sep 03, 2017
