KIKIADE:
can one still get points from partner skill qualification? if yes, how?
must the 2 occupations be in MLTSSL or STSOL of IMM1 17/072
OR the 2 occupations should just be in IMMI 17/072
You only get 5 points for this if successful and the following must be satisfied by partner;
• Age < 44 years
**Has at least competent English:
If you are using an IELTS test to show functional English, it must be from a test sat no more than 12 months before making your application
•Has nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation
•Has been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation

My brother Alphadoor. I'm very much around. Well, I've not heard from DIBP after the Immi Assessment commence E-Mail in July. So I'm hoping the good news is not too far away. At the moment I'm focused on improving my skill levels in preparation for the Aussie market.
Very Very soon you will hear the good news.

Yes, you can claim partner points.

both occupations must be on the same list, either MLTSSL or STSOL.

both occupations must be assessed positively by the relevant assessing bodies.

and the partner must take and pass English test (I am not sure of the scores needed now).

Competent English...
Band 6 for IELTS
Band 50 for PTE

Thanks Boss for the feedback,

I Submitted a total of 11 years. but 3 years of those was reviewed as Unsuitable the reason was that it was not closely related to the Nominated ANZSCO, so out of the 8 years accessed, 5 years was deducted as reason to Associate Degree. Leaving me with 3 years for EXP claim. Thinking if i submit a review of the unsuitable 3 years Career Episode i would be able to get additional 5 points.

Can i PM you please @Alphadoor

whats the update on this review bro.

September estimate of how long you will need to wait from NOW to get an invite for your 189 EOI in the pro rata and non pro rata occupations.

The jump in invitations per round from 1000 to 1750 has changed the estimates in some occupations significantly.

Hello guys, I greet all the gurus in the house.

Please I'm very new to this Australian of a thing. My attention was drawn to it by my fiancé and now I'm really so interested.

Please what are my chances

Age is 30yrs

IELTS 6+ bands

Bachelors degree in Computer science (3yrs cos I did direct entry)

6 years of working experience as a database developer.

Please I'd be so glad if I can be guided as I've calculated my point and it seems I qualify for the 60 points but someone told me that I can't use my bachelor degree because it's 3yrs due to the direct entry admission.

Please any further guide I'd really appreciate it

Thanks a bunch

Hi, i also worked with a few banks and prior to getting a positive assessment, I submitted an affidavit, a letter of reference from my supervisors detailing my duties. I also submitted all my employment documents as well as JD.

I will advise you PM me or send me your email. I can share my letters with you. Vetassess will mark you down for working in a bank but theres a way around this.
Please share with me too, I intend assessing VETASSESS for customer service.
Just got my JD last week would there still be need for reference letter?
I PM u already

Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions please.I have been assessed by EA as a professional Engineer(Mechanical Engineering).First, I have a skilled experience of 20 months(1 year and 8 months) in Nigeria and most of the regions that I want require you to have 2 years. However, I do not know if it is just for skilled experience. This is because I have a lot of unskilled experience in the UK.Again, I want to know at what point can one cease to modify application(after EOI or ITA).I intend to get married before the second half of next year.I am scheduled for PTE next month before returning home,so I do not know if I should halt the PR process till two become one.Thank you in advance.

Good day, pls how did you go about you assessment by EA. I'm a professional Civil Engineer in Nigeria (COREN registered). I have up to 6 years post graduate experience in Building Construction. I'm 31 years old. Pls you put through. Thank you in anticipation.

I don't think you can claim experience point as the QA is not related to Engineering, it will be deemed irrelevant. (I stand to be corrected though). Have you tried to max out point from English? You can give that a try.
