One thing I've come to realize about Nigeria is this: rant, cry or wail all you want - express your OPINIONS - but the permutations and intricacies of our political space always throws up personalities that show that our OPINIONS are not a deciding factor per se. You may be amazed by the things that count for these politicians in king-making and if I am to borrow scripture, their ways are not our ways. Most of us want Nirvana, and they want oil blocs and what-not. Still, it's okay for us to hope against hope and pray without ceasing, that our dreams for a better, more democratic and advanced Nigeria will be achieved in our lifetimes. Pass the salt please.
