Hope the expiry date on your passport isn't 2018? If it is that will be the reason, cos I don't think they issue visa beyond the validity of one's passport... I stand to be corrected if I am wrong. Buy you can always apply for extension when you renew your passport...

Congrats ones more

It was a mail stating that my application has not been updated since I submitted.

I will be coming here to share my timeline soon, meanwhile this is my second application since 2016, I didn't request for my gcsm file, all I used to tackle my first denial was information from this group that I gathered for a whole year... I thank everyone here especially the originator of this group and the gurus here

And to all expectants, the Lord that did mine even when I have almost lose all hope will do yours

Hello guys! Been following this thread as a guest. I have a few questions pls.

I have a CGPA of 3.80 in my final two years of study and a FCGPA of 3.53 in civil Engineering. I applied to 3 different schools for my MENG, Windsor, Mun and Waterloo but it was not successful. Windsor said low academic average, Waterloo said they received a lot of applications, while Mun said no available supervisor. I was told by MUN my application will be reconsidered for fall 2018. Tried contacting supervisors but haven't heard from any. I am worried I won't get any positive response from Mun. I would like to apply to Ottawa, but before I do, pls can someone advice if my CGPA is good for Ottawa. Thanks

Wow! You are now somewhere on the Atlantic ocean. What a trip! You pop champagne, hi-fives went round, you even had a party!

Silly friends are jealous of you, funny admirers are gazing in awe, dumb proteges came with notepads and of course you have a lot to share after all you are 40,000 feet up on the Atlantic while some are still struggling to take off and others can't even fly.

But it's a trip from Lagos to New York! Celebrating over the Atlantic is as dumb as it gets. If you lose focus, or stop cruising, you will never arrive.

Know the difference between progress and accomplishment, it will keep you focused, it will keep you moving, above all, it will keep you humble.

People land at your dream destination everyday and just keep moving cos their destination is further and farther. Stay Humble, stay inspired, never settle.

Just thought to share this here!
