This MIUI forum app is stubborn o. I've disabled its access to mobile network and background activities, still, it still updates and displays its badge notification. How do I stop this without uninstalling?

Lol.. The first I do after flashing fastboot rom is to Uninstall that app.

If MIUI 8 based on Android 7 is available for your device, update to it first, then, download miui9 and instal, otherwise, you'll have to unlock your bootloader to instal miui9.

There's no miui 9 for note 3 a.t.m. Probably in October.

For note 3, you only need to unlock bootloader when you are moving from miui to a custom rom.

Am not a BETA tester, people applied to be a tester, I didn't apply for it, I took d risk on my own and update from global stable rom to developer rom.
