Really? And what have you done to get the restructuring?
When the north said ''no restructuring'', how did the yoruba people use their ''intelligence'' to circumvent that since you like restructuring so much.
I am waiting to see how the yoruba ''intelligensia'' will take over the vacuum left by kanu and push for restructuring instead of just making empty rhetoric here and there.
The igbo man is naturally ahead of you. That is no chest-beating. Even Ikweremadu agreed that kanu as misguided as he may be has jolted the country to a realization. That is more than all the talk and talk and talk that yorubas do since awolowo.

Shoot ourselves in the leg?lol. We are done with the fight for restructuring and everything revolutionary. If you want it, go and get it yourselves.

Which vacuum was left by kanu? the vacuum of empty and idiotic chest beating? the vacuum of hurling hateful insults to his own leaders and other tribal leaders? the vacuum of having his feet licked by idiots his own age? the vacuum of paying a jobless Turkish citizen to act like a diplomat and give a false interview? What exactly is the vacuum that the albino hunchback left that any sane human will wish to fill?

Has he even died that you're mentioning vacuum? who or what 'vacuum cleaned' him?

Nnamdi Kanu asked dem for a debate/referendum, they gave him and his people tanks, bombs, AK47 and bullet holes.

Many died, they are not talking about innocent Igbos murdered on their own land, they are talking about investment in Kano.

That is the height of human wickedness, so becos of ur investment in Kano, Uche the poor farmer in the village deserves to be murdered on his way back from the farm.

Or Ikenna the local business man deserves to be gun down on his way to work.

Igbo leaders should take it easy Ooooo! Fame glory and worldly gains cannot redeem ur souls from impending doom.

what exactly did he layout that an average Yoruba man doesn't know? check my post history here and on jaideyone my other account. the average Yoruba man shares the same view of restructuring with ekweremadu.

we've been called, cowards, betrayers, awusa slaves just because we understand the importance of demanding for a restructured Nigeria peacefully by building bridges instead of heating up the polity and making more enemies like ipob ended up doing for the Ibos.

yet you foolishly conclude the ibo man is ahead. chest beating as usual.

brain over brawn.

BTW pls don't stop the agitation. spread the hate like you've been doing. keep shooting yourselves in the leg

Were you expecting anything better from an irredeemable IPOB like him?

Everything Ekweremadu said had already been laid out on this forum by many members.
-Civility of argument.
-Economic viability of Biafra without SouthSouth oil and sea access.
-Loss of investment in Nigeria
-Illegality of the pursuit of Biafra.
-Examples of numerous failed states after legally separating from mother country.
-Lack of international support and diplomacy due to the hatred infused into the campaign for secession.
-Igbos already thriving without hindrance all over Nigeria.
-Kanu leading Igbos to another doom like Ojukwu.

All the above are the same arguments of Ekweremadu, but some people just love to make mistakes and court misery again.

don't mind the Olodo. imagine him shouting the ibo man is naturally ahead just because of some rhetorics the Yoruba man has been trying to make them see since their madness started two years ago.

all they know how to do is beat their empty chests with nothing upstairs

Trash,

Igbos are not Lazy, we cannot mortgage Igbo land becos of our brothers shortsightedness to leave their region and invest outside in other regions where their investment are no guaranteed.

How many Hausa or Yoruba have invested in Igboland.

Did dey not learn from the example in their backyard here in Rivers, if not let them pay the price again in hope that they have finally learnt.

In every movement their are leaders, in Biafra Igbo are leaders and we must lead the SS and indeed the middlebelt parts out of Nigeria.

As for international dimension, Nigeria was not created by Nigerians but by Internationalist.

IPOB have gone far in mobilizing the international community for the actualization of Biafra.

Igbo leaders must not constitute a stumbling block, becos posterity will never forgive them.

Let us go and develop our land. No more excuses!

The South South and Middlebelt have warned you guys to stay off their lands. The Easterners are predominantly traders..How do you expect Biafra to survive without access to the sea? That's economic suicide. Better start putting on your thinking cap now. Biafra with the 5 South Eastern states will not be able to fend for herself. Get that into your brain.

On this very forum called Nairaland, we've articulated all those points more than a million times but only 'cowards' think before acting in ipob land. Truly i believe an IQ below 33 is the most important qualification to join that group. Even Achebe, as hateful and bitter as he was, said the below

"We often stand in the compound
of a coward to point at the ruins where a brave
man used to live.” ... “Only a
foolish man can go after a leopard with his bare
hands.”

U can go to the moon, if u like, but dont mortgage Igbo land and its future for ur own greedy and selfish end.

The best way to address the people is with respect, our Igbo elite are all corrupt and they must stop with their insult on our collective intelligence.

Let them give Biafrans a referendum to decide, one man one vote.

Ekweremadu cannot decide for me.

He might run for Enugu State governor and not win, so who is he to decide for 50 million Igbos?

And now dat u ppl have succeeded in getting urselves blacklisted as a terrorist group what have u achieved? Most of d antics employed by Igbos in going about d agitation was downright wrong. Everyone has a right to protest for wateva but no one is going to b allowed to exercise those rights if dey result in attacks on other tribes...

I have confirmed once again from this IPOB-Biafra saga that it is not good for elders to sit and watch while things go bad.

I have also seen that reason is far superior to emotions but emotions always dominate human actions.
I am sure even the core IPOB member, in all honesty, won't fault this write-up laced with brilliance. But is this the first time issues raised in this piece are raised? Even Joe Igbokwe warned and cautioned (difference being he too could be emotional atimes) but alas, emotions were too high to make provision for reason.

Clearly, this whole agitation was fueled chiefly by ignorance (not undermining the power of hate). Wrong perception. False hope. False information and manipution. Creation of (wrong) enemies - making brothers look like enemies. Among others.
But were there real sensitization, dissemination of right information, engagement of critical stakeholders without ulterior motives, this won't have taken this dimension.

DSP and other respected Igbo sons and daughters ought to have intervened earlier and not to ride on the wings of the agitation, waiting to see if it will favour them or not.

Such a nice piece.

You should be grateful PMB loved the igbos enough to not allow ipob toe thesame path boko haram was allowed to take by the ineffectual buffoon.

Why not take a stroll to the NE and ask those who were in support of their actions in the begining just as you people are doing for ipob now, how far?
What a display of willful ignorance and political history myopia. BH started off by targetting Xtians and Churches in the north. Most northerner politrickians kept quiet and most northerners cheered. Even GMB spoke in favour of BH by accusing government of killing them and destroying their houses. A former president was criticising why a military action was taken against a terrorist group? Several northern polictical figures were implicated in BH sponsorship and activities.
Here are the effects of norther leaders being complicit.

100k killed and injured
5m folks displaced,
3.5m in IDP
Over $10bn loss in property.
Over $50bn spent on military, intelligence, security and logistics.

So this comparisoon that IPOD= BH is pure false equivalence .

Even though IPOD is not a terrorist organization,it has not enjoyed the support of Igbo political, business, religious and intellectual leaders.

It's called "UNIFORM DEVELOPMENT", undemocratic at THE UNSOLICITED LABOURS OF SOME INNOCENT FEW!!!

Like in the educational system, where the qualified is short changed because of the inability of some other people to see the need for mass education.
No uniform system suppresses the competent in order to give undue advantage to the mediocre.

No nation thrives on mediocrity.

We have the highest ranking Igbo leader in this present govt speaking unequivocally about this issue.
Wish GMB had spoken against BH and Herdsmen this way.
Wish Oba of Lagos had not threatened to drown Igbos in lagoon for voting for a Yoruba man.
Fairness and honesty we demand from other people, must first come from our backyard.

You are right.
But the 1999 Constitution was written by civilians for the Military to implement. Why didn't they see these pitfalls? Subterfuge!
Grant Full Autonomy to the 36 Constitutional States. Change "The Exclusive list to Inclusive list" and prevent the 36 Constitutional States from legislations relating to Foreign Affairs, Control of The Military and signing of Foreign Treaties and Agreements.
The NASS and The Constitution are Surrogates of each other.
