Must CAN be headed by stupid people? He should propose the equivalence of this in Episcopal, instead of lamenting like a dog.

As Christians we need to stand up and seek political positions, enough of playing second fiddle, if we calm down it would be in the presence of our kids or Grandchildren that this Nation would be Islamised.

As for Atheist, you think you are left out, read the story of Turkey, Iran, Syria etc, you would see these countries were initially Very christian dominated and most importantly very liberal, check them out now, trust me its only Christian Nations that support liberalism, you would be killed or punished for going against Islamic rules and most abide by Moslem faith in an Islamic Nation, so trust me it would affect you and your future children.

For liberal Muslims, it would also go against you, if you are a woman, you must wear the hijab, its compulsory, you also won't be permitted to drive a car and do a lot of several other things, you would be exposed to unnecessary abuse and persecutions, if you are a man you can't be free to act how you want.

They have started again with their irrational hatred and blackmail against anything about Islam or Muslims to the point of foolishness.
They forgot that Islamic Banking was initiated by no other than Charles Soludo, a Christian; and that Islamic Banking is practised all over Europe and America without Islamising the countries involved.
Is sukuk and Islamic banking being forced on any citizen of this country and not a matter of choice of the individual?

Why does CAN feel that it has the right to deny what is legitimate to Nigerian Muslims (interest free banking/transactions) and impose on them what is forbidden (taking of interest) according to their religion?
What part of the constitutions is being violated and why can't they therefore sue the government and have the court overturn such decision (if true) instead of spreading hate and misinformation on the pages of newspaper to further divide the ppl?

CAN should note that since the take off of Islamic Banking, at least one the banks JAIZ has recorded a significant patronage from Christians (as borrowers and depositors) attracted by its relative low cost of borrowing and high returns on investment.

It is pathetic that CAN now behaves more like an arm of the Opposition. Where was CAN when the Abia, Ebonyi and Enugu States applied for and obtained Islamic loans on concessionary terms?. Must we play politics with everything ?.

Sukuk Bond is an investment product target at certain group of investors. It is a choice, and you are not under any obligation to invest.

Western world that brought this religion to us don't do it this way - reasons for their growth. To Educate you, UK has an Islamic Bank, different ethical/islamic investment products and heaven does not fall.

Religious Bigotry and Ethnicity are the major problems hindering the growth of this country.

Please seek for knowledge and think for yourself. Don't be deceived by Religious leaders (Alfa, Imam, Clergy Pastors, Traditional Rulers et.c) or Political leaders.

you won't understand the CAN SEC cos you are living in deluded islamic religious state. As it stand this sukuk loans is affecting osun state cos the state government hasn't pay up the loan. Even NBS released some statistics yesterday that Osun state is one of indebted state in Nigeria. Up till now the state government are still paying its workforce half salaries. So pathetic and worse situation. Sukuk loan should be stopped.
