Hello please help me answer this question,will 18% for 364days for primary market yield same amount as secondary market 18% for 310days for like 1million?.. if no.. how do u calculate the difference??

No.

364 days
=======
I = PTR/36500 = 1,000,000*364*18/365*100 = 6552000000/36500 = 179,506.85

310 days
=======
I = PTR/36500 = 1,000,000*310*18/365*100 = 5580000000/36500 = 152,876.71

I got 13% for 91days tenor. First Bank
When?

I was told the next auction is next week Wednesday that I should just fill a form and submit?
could this be true?
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by peejay03: 1:16pm On Sep 21, 2017
I just got 16% for 70 days in first bank at the secondary market. Got debited almost immediately but the account officer said i'll receive a credit alert once the certificate is ready to be issued. Please how true is this because i assume ones account gets credited instantly after a successful investment.

The rate will still rise next year... Government will need a lot of money to execute projects in preparation for election year..

An auction was held today! Maybe you submitted your application late.

There is nothing like 365 days TB. You only have 364 days.

If FB said that your 365 days failed and that 364 is available, it might mean that you specified your rate when you were bidding and FB succeeded with their own rate for 364. That is the only headway i can make from this your post.

Am telling you. Had to tell the guy to repeat the rate again....

I even forgot to ask him an important question.

Guys please is it possible to receive the interest at maturity via secondary market?

365 was a typo mistake. 364 was the rate I bidded for in the primary market...

The rate or tenor?. 364 is the tenor and not the rate. Did you bid with your own rate and if yes, what rate did you specify?.

Three tenors are only available in the primary market, 91, 182, and 364, and I went for 364

Investors have further pushed their limits with the killer instinct. Imagine 364 day tenor with 89 billion Naira offer was over subscribed at over 500 billion Naira. Where all these money dey common front sef. With this high demand, price must drop o. The last 2 auctions have seen geometry over subscriptions. I hope CBN and DMO are not playing fast one to drive down rate. I ask again, where all those money come from.

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Dozi05(m): 11:34am On Sep 22, 2017
The rate quoted is for a year tenor. For 90day/3 months you do 394500/4=98625 aprroximately
