I enjoyed reading your piece. Even though most christians will argue some issues in the post, I picked some points. Most churches spend time preaching the damnation of hell and not the beauty of heaven. They both point in same direction ; Salvation. But how you approach it matters a lot. That's the reason we have very toxic christians today. People who live in fear and always think someone is after them and everyone a suspect. Its as a result of the messages they hear everysunday. The church shld preach salvation from the stand point of the beauty of heaven.

Christians have ben thought to condemn themselves outrightly the moment they sin and that why the accuser of brethren accuses them when then come to God in prayer.

God forgives, his mercies abound. Even though its not right to abuse Grace. Apostle Paul said " shall we continue in sin that grace may abound ? God forbid " don't abuse grace but if you ever fall for any sin, go to the father for forgiveness

Making heaven has been taught to be one heculian task and people have given up thinking they will never make it. Some have already condemned themselves even before judgement day because of the mindset their church has instilled in them. Heaven is for you and I. God did not have us in mind when he made the pit of hell but Satan and his agents

Hope you know you're on ur way to that hell (the place of eternal suffering). Guess why? Cos you're deliberately twisting God's word to make people comfortable in their sin. Please understand that the moment you accept Jesus as your saviour,nothing will ever separate you from the love of GOD except you. So don't give up your salvation no matter how sinful you are even after giving your life to Christ.

3.GOD is never hard on you

Many people are fond of giving their life to christ several times cos to them, being born again means living a sinless life so anytime they sin,they just disqualify themselves and conclude that they are no more saved lol!...

No matter how hard you try,you can not live a perfect life by your efforts but it is our faith in Jesus that automatically makes us righteous. So if you have ever accepted Jesus as your saviour at any tim in your life,then you are forever saved even if you find yourself committing sins afterwards.

God has made provision for our imperfections and all you need do is to ask for forgiveness anytime you sin but don't ever disqualify yourself or give up your salvation by thinking you can never be born again because you still commit sins. Salvation is a work in progress so keep trying.

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

4.Many people neglect the help of the Holy spirit.

This is the mistake many people make.

You can be truly born again and still smoke,
fornicate, steal and commit sins over and over again...YES you read right,you can be very born again and still sin and GOD will never condemn you but you will only be fooling yourself thinking you can overcome sins on your own.

The holy spirit is interested in perfecting our salvation and until you call him to help you out,you may just end up going round in circles.

You can't stop that addiction on your own,that sin you are struggling with will never go if you keep trying on your own...just go down on your kneels and sincerely cry out to the Holy spirit then watch the power of GOD as you will be totally free from such sins no matter how difficult it may seem.

Many people are in hell today because they never called on the spirit of GOD to help them and they ended up giving up their precious salvation because they kept falling back into sins and thinking they can overcome sins with their flimsy human efforts.

John 6:63
The Spirit is he that gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken unto you, they are Spirit and they are life.

5.Making heaven is the simplest task ever because all you need to do is
A.Accept Jesus as saviour
B.Ask the holy spirit to come into you to fine tune your salvation.
C.Pray always for forgiveness of sins knowing you can not be sinless.

It is not your duty to struggle with sins...just take the first step by accepting Jesus as your saviour and call on the spirit of GOD to take care of the sins in your life...dont try to do it by your effort...you will fail if you do.

Galatians 5:16
“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

6.GOD is a loving creator,no matter how many times you sin,as long as you keep asking for forgiveness,he will never stop forgiving you

Nevertheless,a true believer does not enjoy sinful acts. The moment your heart no longer Condemns you when you sin,know that you are totally enslaved to sin and you have totally taken the grace of GOD for granted which is not a good thing.You must be willing to allow the holy spirit perfect your salvation.

The bottom line is that no matter how hard you struggle with one sin or the other,always understand that GOD will never reject you and as long as you don't give up your salvation,GOD will never give up on you.

No matter what you do,never ever give up your salvation but strife to make it better with the help of the Holy spirit

Do we ask for the forgiveness of substance already forgiven? once you are in christ Jesus, irrespective of our sins, God has forgiven us in advance and forever it is never a licence to keep on with sin. The reason why St. Paul said, 'Shall we continue in sin that the Grace of God may abound? God Forbid!

Most times, I ask myself if God can be so cruel to subject his children to eternal pain by watching them burn in a fiery furnace for their misdeeds.

Common sense should remind you about the natural Law that "Nothing good comes easy".
If heaven is a good place, then even a non believer who has never read the Bible should know that it won't be easy to get there.
And you that reads the Bible should know this: "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

Until one day, I invited Jesus to help me. Just like that, this is over 10months now without cigarette. I didn't even have any withdrawal symptoms for one day.

Yes the way is narrow... But with the help of the Holy Spirit, God's nature becomes our nature because we are born of God. So it becomes easy to shun evil. Temptation and trials will come but we cling to God cos he is our life! Deut 30:20

The narrow gate can be interpreted to mean the 'unpopular route'. The world sees fornication as normal, but cos we are on the narrow path, we know what it is, and abstain.

Jesus said His yoke is easy, and burden light. So pls stop seeing the godly life as hardship.

this is very true; but I don't think it
is possible to abuse grace when you have the Spirit of God in you; I make mistakes sometimes though but my conscience(by the help of the holyspirit) will not give me peace until I settle it with God in place of prayer; ....this has been my experience ; I don't think a Christian with the Holy Spirit can be comfortable in Sin; there is no point preaching to scare them with all this holier than thou preaching....what makes us righteousness is not our work but faith in the righteousness in Christ Jesus

Does common sense not tell us that GOD knew man can not live a totally sinless life?

Believe it or not,no true believer takes GOD for granted...I know if I fornicate everyday and ask GOD for forgiveness he will...but I will only be taking him for granted (which of course no true believer will do).

Young believers face serious challenges as they still struggle with some sins in their lives and most of them at that fragile stage give up on themselves and totally embrace sins thereby getting lost forever ....this piece is for them.

If you truly have the spirit of GOD YOU WILL STRUGGLE TO SIN.....YES you read right....the spirit of GOD in me makes it hard for me to sin and I did not get to this stage overnight, I have had times when I felt like giving up but today the spirit of GOD in me has taken me to a level of confidence in christ Jesus.

But despite all,I still fall into sins even when I don't like it,I do not crave for sins, I don't sin with impunity neither do I enjoy it..

The sermon of doom and gloom has sent many to hell and this must stop.

Once you are born again,invite the holy spirit of God to perfect your salvation but don't ever give up on yourself till death cos God will never give up on you.
