I have tried this feed formula and sincerely it will be so ungrateful for me not to share my testimony.
My rottweiler pup I used to feed her noodles crumbs mixed with fish she enjoyed this but at some point I guess she became fed up of the feed and she doesn't eat it, I became so worried cos to me it is prefarable if i do not eat but my dog not eating causes me great concern, I was skeptical at first but I decided to try anyway.
I bought the ingredients in smaller quantities since im just trying for the first time; I bought maize, wheat,soyabean, groundnut, dry fish, crayfish and grinded all these together. Its just about a week now and my pup has become the talk of town, she is now fatter, bigger and her appetite for food has increased greatly.shout out to beewhy009 i appreciate you bro.

I will also share this life hack for dogs my vet gave me this Trick, if your dog is a picky eater or eats little or nothing buy Vitamin B tablets and Vitamin C (white colored) tablets grind like 4 pieces of vitamin B tablets together with like 5 tablets of the vitamin C tablets (it could be more or less depending on the dog's body size) I assure you at some point you will get tired of constant feeding lol. My dog now eats beyond expectations she now finishes her bowl of meal and when her food didn't get to her on time this heavy barking begins lol.

I am impressed and happy to hear that bro, you are just one of the few who can't keep it to themselves as I also did after getting d trick also and I have never regretted it. I prescribed for a breeder in Ilorin ds last month and he was wowed with even d acceptance it got with his dog, he couldn't stop thanking God.

Wish more people who have tried it cld comment so those who never did shld get d confidence and try it out.

It is not good for all dogs though.. It made my dogs start shedding their hair.. maybe because I didn't have time to roast the soya..

I tried it like a year ago.

that could be the reason, probably you didn't remove the shaft also which is dangerous to dog's health. I'd advice you try it again this time in small quantity for a test and make sure you roast the soya and remove the shaft

Another thing is if you read the posts very well and keenly follow the convo, you wl realize I never copied anyone. I told you, all this were just my loads of research and lots of reading from other people's posts. Yet what I wrote here was just my trial that worked and I had to share.

If you take note, this thread was not even created to share the recipe, as at the time I created the thread, I was asking for help myself. I used Google and was directed to diverse sites but they were mainly the whites methods and the likes, yet some ingredients were mentioned as crucial and these was what I noted down. It took me time too, as I couldn't devote much to it and was slow, yet I was thinking I needed to find a solution before the Binggo feed got exhausted.

I searched on NL and I couldn't find anything, the guy said they update the thread everytime but it was funny it still never came up in my searches and I have no reason whatsoever to lie as there is nothing I am gaining from that (except Seun pays to open threads while not selling anything). The link to the post was later shared, I read and was glad (saved from writing loads) as I only needed to add a few bits and one of the few things I added which wasn't in their recipe (which was wheat) was added. Yet, in my post, I made reference to their lost as I later copied and added mine. It made my sharing easier.

I was once a guest blogger, so I know the importance of giving credit to a source. Check my profile, I seldom create threads on NL, I don't sell pet feeds and the likes, so I see no reason why I had to plagiarize for no particular gain. And I don't even have the time and that was why it took me several weeks to be even able to post the stuff.

So pls, I never plagiarise anyone abeg,i had no reason whatsoever to do that.

And that's just why it affected your dog. I did not say it can't affect any dog tho, but so far I have not seen or heard anyone who complained about its acceptance by d dog or even an adverse effect on their health if the methods were keenly adhered to.

That shaft of the Soya beans you did not remove is so poisonous that if ingested to a certain extent could kill the pup. You can read more about that.

Signs that ur dog has lost its appetite may include the following:

Eating less than usual

Refusing to eat at all

Not eating treats

Trying to eat, but not being able to finish a meal

Weight loss

Lack of energy

Vomiting

It may be that ur dog is not eating the recommended amount of food, but this is not a sign of loss of appetite if ur dog is generally a light eater or is small for its age or breed. The main concern is when a dog who is often enthusiastic about its food loses interests in it. This sudden loss of appetite is an indicator that something is wrong. It may be a sign that ur dog is sick and needs medical attention.

Treatment of Loss Of Appetite In Dogs

If ur dog is having difficulty eating, there are a few thing u can try at home to tempt them. U can try changing the food that you’re giving ur dog in case there is something in it that ur dog does not like. Some dog can eat a type of food today and would refuse same food the next day. If ur dog is like then uv got to give him a different meal everyday.

U can also try to warm the food a little or soften dried food by adding water to see if that makes it easier to eat and digest. Some dogs do respond to hand feeding.

There are also appetite boosting drugs that can be used to try to encourage ur dog to eat. Look for a multivitamin that has Vitamin B complex in it. Bully max is also known to increase appetite in dogs.

Deworm ur dogs. The first thing i do when my dogs loss appetite is to deworm. Look for a good one and administer based on body weight. It could be a reason y ur dog is not eaten.

Dental problems can also make ur dogs not not eat. When they are growing teeth it would surely affect their appetite.

viral infections such as distemper and parvo virus can also make ur dogs loss of appetite.

Other factors that can cause loss of appetite

Have meal time in dogs. If ur feeding by 9am make sure u keep to time, it helps alot. Feed adult dogs 2 times a day and puppies 3 times. U can also feed convalescents 3 times a day.

A Meal for Your and Your Dog

Love cooking for your dog but never have the time? Rocky Kanaka from The CW’s SAVE our SHELTER, Dog's Day Out and founder of The Dog Bakery, has a solution. This easy to make salmon meal for yourself can also be made for your dog.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 salmon portions SKIN ON (1 oz per 10 pounds of dog plus any amount you would like
1 squash
1 head of broccoli (with stem)
3 potatoes (any kind)2 carrots

I try to provide the best for my dog. Recently, I discovered that raw food has many benefits for him like shinier coats, healthier skin, cleaner teeth, smaller stools… I used to give him a lot of sweets and fried food, but I stopped after he got really fat. I didn’t notice that, but my mother got scared when she saw him. I put him on a strict diet. Raw dog food helped us to lose weight and become more active. The recipe which you provided is a little bit fat I think. Did your dog gain some pounds after it?

INGREDIENTS

*1/2 part of Wheat
▪️2 Parts Corn
▪️1 Part Soya Beans
▪️1 Part Groundnuts
▪️Fish (could be crayfish, fish waste, etc and as much as you can afford. You can do 1 part fish of your choice, don't just go overboard as too much protein isn't good).

*Roast the soya beans to remove the shaft as the shaft is poisonous. Then grind all together until very smooth.

*Instead of roasting groundnuts, i actually bought the bottled groundnut and used it all to ease d stress of roasting myself.

PROCEDURE FOR COOKING

Into a pot of water on fire, pour some of the formula and stir (e.g 2 tin cups of milk into 1&1/2 glass cup of water). Keep stiring until you get a consistency like pap (Ogi). It takes a little while to get this consistency, so be patient. If it's too thick, you can add some water. For the wee pups, it's shouldn't be thick. For older dogs, you can serve thick.

*I don't add salt, seasoning or palm oil as my pup accepts it fast. You can add a little if you so wish and notice the reaction and changes.

*make it not too thick and not too watery so when it cools it wl be firm by itself.

NB; Your dogs won't readily eat it, as its new to them so start small when cooking.
