Truth be told, at a club of Chelsea level, we cannot make consistent progress without the right midfielders. Any club that is consistent must have a certain level of midfielders, not patch-patching the midfield to accomodate flaws. TBH even a nigga like Drinkwater should be playing Scott Parker role, not hoping on him as first choice. FFS, this is the club of Ballack, Essien, Lampard and Makelele. Only Barca midfield was consistently better in it's day and.mostly because of genius Xavi. Now I can't even rate our midfield top 10 at any time in the last 6 seasons.

Man City had up to 68% possession and that is a midfield problem which can be explained by them having higher energy. Why can't we see this things like this and accept this result.
I will not judge any of our players for this lose, because they tried their best. Though, I would have loved a draw, but, the players tried and pep got his tactics right by using speed and energy to overrun our players.
