Have you gone for postpartum check up with your doctors.. if not try and check in...
Take it easy on your self... try and avoid strenuous activities, house chores, lifting objects and walking too fast..

coconuts oil + shear butter is good and natural

Thanks dear... I guess its d walking too fast and lifting objects... I also noticed that I'm light on my feet, like my legs shake wen I walk. I'll try and take it easy. my pp check up is in two weeks time

How old is ur baby Biko? I'll suggest you wait it out oh. The spot on her forehead might not mean anything. My baby's own is a bit close to her front hairline though, I don't know about taking a baby to any native house oh. Then again it's MIL, what can you do. As for the eating too often and not adding weight, I think it Depends on what she's eating. Are you EBF-ing or she's also taking milk? If EBF-ing, are you eating enough for a good milk supply? So she fit suck belefull at once instead of eating too often like you say. If a baby is not well fed, sleeping well will be difficult. Speaking from experience

I was EBF-ing but wen MIL came yesterday she gave her water immediately cos of d spot that it'll help it go inside.. maybe she wasn't eating full cos she's been sleeping well since we started d water yesterday

A sunken fontanelle (the spot close to her forehead) could be a sign of malnutrition or dehydration. Please feed her as often as she would like to be fed, she might just be a foodie. If you can't keep up with the breastmilk then use formula. If you think she's not ok please take her to a hospital, no native doctor things
I think it's dehydration cos since we started d water yesterday she's been sleeping well and no cries. MIL invited a relative to check her today and the woman said it hasn't reached the "nnta" level that's it isi nkuwa(I'm not sure if that's wat she called it). she said we should give my DD enough water and the sunken fontanelle will cover up. In all, no need for any native therapy. Thank God for that.
I want to start her on NAN1 formula I hope it's ok.. the price range will be appreciated.

About the pains I'll go easy on my self. Hopefully it will subside before my 6weeks checkup.
Thanks everyone

I'm happy to hear she's fine
If it's dehydration then the water will definitely help.

Nan 1 is good. That's what my son has been taking since he was 3 weeks old. We're now on Nan 2 and it's between 2200 And 2400 here in my area. But we started buying in carton. So it's like 25k for one carton.

You're doing great

Bikonu can I give vitamin C to my baby every blessed day for two months. I've given her the whole of one bottle and I'm wondering if it would be too much to buy another bottle. There are two kids around that seem to have chronic cough and catarrh, and the vitamin C is our only hope of not catching it.

Hope you and baby are ok.
Is baby running a temperature as well?
Have the doctors provided you with any explanation? Maybe if they do, you may not be so worried. However if you are still unsure, A second opinion is always an option.

Please state your location just in case you need to change hospitals/doctors other mamas may be able to give suggestions on other hospitals with good peadiatric units.

stress causes pain at the incision spot. It is advised not to lift anything heavier than your baby for at least the first few weeks. And also the way you stand up from your bed can contribute to the pain. Make sure you turn to your side b4 u stand up from your bed.
. make sure you are not putting belt head or a tight waist band on the incision point cos I almost fainted some few days back for doing that.
. if u are not guilty of any or all these and you are still feeling pains consult your doctor.

And when the case came up them nor see who prescribed am oh. So nor let them take your lo play. And don't forget to go on your knees in prayers.
