Ogunvic and Romeo, had to download my uber app on Friday after a month cos of referral money wey I want get. but when I get to this stage of sending activitaion code to my number, I no dey see any code.

It happens to me sometimes too. All the codes will eventually enter at once. Leave it for now and try hours later

That's true, they thought having the lowest price in the market will automatically translate to having more riders. But what happens when you have all the riders but no cars to pick them. The riders will definitely seek alternatives which is what is playing out right now.

Uber refused to carry their drivers along and that is their greatest undoing. They forget the drivers are the real ambassadors of the brand and should be treated well. They refused to listen and now they're paying dearly for it. I pray they receive sense sooner than later

Bros forget that "Comfort" package. Uber initially has something similar called "Uber Black" until they scrapped it due low patronage.
What I've notice about our Naija people is that majority like better thing but want it very cheap, except few that are willing to pay better money for quality service.

the good part of it is that everybody will earn, they are not scrapping any partners. Delicate vehicles should earn more that old rugged vehicles if not partners/driver will be going for old model vehicles.
