They charge more than 10 naira to check balance on the 737 ussd service.total Sms alert charge per month can even reach 1k.

It's been long I don dey plan to open another account and dump una. Now I'm dumping you. Poor network service.

Silly bank and their rude customer care personnel ...even the ones at their head office at Akin Adesola are no different. They will tell you three (3) working days to get small stuff done but they just throw your file somewhere so long as they perceive you are not a "high net worth" individual .Hypocrites!

Yeah i suffered it too yesterday,they didnt send me that message and they charge me high on sms. im hating this bank now,NO interest whatsoever,just deduction everytime.Even sent me birthday wish and charge for it.

The experience was similar here in Uyo. I couldn't withdraw. So I stayed cashless. I've vowed never to touch my savings @ First Bank & FCMB. So I had till GTB service returned cos that's my spending account. Lol. Its well sha. Once in a while, such things happen.

I really felt a sense of remorse having account with gtb. However, it's over because I have zeroed it.

Others may not be 100% ok, but some are just fairer.

Lemme drop this here, 2days ago I was on a road trip with my family members so along the way I spotted a nice pair of leather settee on our way back we stopped and paid for them using a cheque, the money was cashed yesterday I let my cousin sleep in my room last night when I woke up I noticed money was gone from my wallet in my mind I said I got a gtbank Mastercard nothing can go wrong, I went back to the state capital with only 100 in my wallet to pick up the settee, 1st bank o tried to withdraw was access it just kept failing and all my money was already spent on keke I had to trek over 2kms and since my fone was low I couldn't reach out, after waiting in the banking hall for over an hour I was able to withdraw and have lunch, I got a reversal this morning for the failed debit, at least I can now withdraw, lesson learned always have a back up account with money

The entire banking system of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) has been down since morning.

Online banking (737), Atm and due to this, many people have been stranded with businesses put on hold, earlier today a message was sent that there’s a problem and everything would be rectified between the hours of 12 and 1

But looks like that didn’t work, read tweets of Nigerians lamenting of all what they went through, such a pity. Hope it will be rectified soon.

Gt banks, thanks for finally ruining me, I did some transfers via your gtworld app today, those transfers didn't indicate successful so it was safe to assume it didn't go through, come midnight i started receiving debit alert that those transactions went through like 5time to 3 different people, I've lost a total of 40k+ right now, and this people are claiming they never received anything, your bank is the worst, I regret making use of your banking platform, you guys should just know you've lost a customer, tried calling GT connect, was put on hold for over 7mins while my call card was being deducted. Your bank is just the absolute worst.
