I got 17.2 for 232 days with First bank yesterday in its secondary market.
Wow that's good. I just left first bank now and they didn't have anything above 180 days. I intend to go back first thing Monday morning as I want at least 300 days and above

Kudos to all Gurus in this house, Wonderful job...I read A-Z practical operation of TB investment in Nigeria here, Yes here ! and just yesterday i decided to put the lessons into practice. I approached 1 FBN branch, i got 78 days @ 13% (500k investment). I submitted the form immediately since i bank with them.
Until this moment my account has not been debited to indicate actions.

I hope all is well ?
If yes, when is my returns likely to be credited?

Thank you.

secondary market should be completed within hours now. It doesn't extend to the next day IMO. My experience with first secondary market is what I speak from though.

In most cases, I get the debit right within the banking hall. What is this? If it is the upfront credit, that could wait till 4-6pm same day. Something is not right here.

FBN always slow in Treasury Bills. My own department [ Diaspora department ] is even worse. They can spend 30 days before they reply undecided

Once read your post where you said you have a temporary INEC card. Actually, that's accepted by FBN for account opening. You'll only to get your utility bill, passport photograph and cash to fix it.

Anyway, it's all good.

Finally got my National I.D slip and I'm ready to go open an FBN so as to start my TBills journey...Better late than never.

Quick one; how long does account opening take at FBN?

What are the available rates for TBills now?

What's the RoI on Stanbic Mutual Funds?

Thinking of 200k TBills and 50k Mutual Funds...Any advise?

Please why do you prefer Stanbic IBTC Bank over FBN for secondary market TBills?

Good for you. I wish I can get similar offer or an offer that's slightly lower than that from secondary market!

OK! Thanks a lot! Had account with FBN but I've not used it for years now. Maybe I'll check with them.
Thanks again

Its true that some brokers and even banks don't do TB less than 1M but others do. So the best thing for you to do if you still want to invest in TB is to ask your broker to transfer that money to your bank account. Since it seem you only have GTB and UBA, the money should be transferred into your GTB for you. Some UBA branches don't do less that 1M too so I do not know where yours belong but with GTB you can do invest in primary... Their secondary is not like FBN or even stanbic.. From my own experience getting secondary in GTB most times is based on luck.

Good luck
