but this aircraft won’t fix any of the issues brought up in the other thread, it’s not a frontline fighter either.

modern India opened up its economy only in the year 1991 much later than the Chinese and therefor lagging

leave Nigeria my brother. The people in charge don't know what they want. They would even buy that flying bicycle that, that Chinese guy used to post on here for COIN if they know the deal would come with enough side cash. They move in some of our safest cities with well armed convoys that you would almost believe they are about to rerun the Normandy landing, while our boys are in the frontline with SoftSkinned utility trucks living in tent made from tatch. So forget it.

I keep saying that some of the most unpatriotic elements In this country can be found at the helms of power. If a good customer make the offer and they can get away with it they will even sell Nigeria and fly off somewhere to live.

We spend billions of dollars each year to provide for the maintenance, feeding and vacations of this bastards and they tell me they want to buy super Tucano to protect us.

With no future prospect of us buying a frontline fighter I think it is foolishness for anyone to think the Tucano deal will be followed by that of a multi-role platform. We will fly that Plane for years if it is bought and even use it to defend democracy in West Africa. The hell we may even talk tough to France with our Tucano. But I tell you one day we will face the reality of all this recklessness and when we do it would be the poor man who can't buy a ticket out of the country that would suffer it.

30 mn$ a piece, and there's guarantee the US would've dropped their usual BS. A time is coming when they'll beg the world to buy their ishyt! As of now there are at least 2 non US builders of quality light attacks planes, cheaper than anything the US offers.

Getting this jet powered aircraft defeats the whole purpose of acquiring an aircraft with low operational cost.

What’s a tactical fighter ?

Please read about the Textron Airland Scorpion before you start talking. It's made for countries that can't afford High tactical attack aircraft but don't want Turboprop aircraft. The Scorpion can do light attack, reconnaissance, domestic air patrol and training. Unlike most ground attack aircraft the Scorpion uses many commercially available off-the-shelf components for the business jets, mostly form the Cessna inventor to reduce cost of maintenance.Developers claim that flight hour of the Scorpion costs only $3 000. None of the Western purpose-designed turbojet attack aircraft can get even close to this figure. For example flight hour of the F-16 costs $25 000.

A manufacture will tell you any story to sell his aircraft don’t believe everything you read.

There’s no point arguing this, you can’t compare the operating cost of a turboprop aircraft to an aircraft with twin jet engines.

You really call a plane with two(2) jet engines cheap compared to a turboprop?

I'm not surprised though-Lurking on pk.df I realised those guys are emotionally and financially committed to reconquering the 'Yindoos,' like their mass murdering ancestors Akbar,Aurangzeb going as far back as Moh'd Ghori, the first Islamic invader in todays Ind in 1192. Any other 3rd worlders would've hanged their Elites for such criminal misallocation of scarce financial resources.

they got

erieye 3 costs around 90 million dollars at the time of order

ZDK-03 4 costs around 100-120 million dollars 'speculative'

erieye 3 on order around 100-140 million dollars now

Chinese offer soft loans or barter trade concessions in lieu of arms

importantly most of the capital acquisitions from western countries of pa......... military is financed and subsidized by Saudis and other gulf countries. grin grin grin

do u know pa.......... military receives free crude oil from gulf for its entire yearly needs since last 3/4 decades grin grin grin

even pa...... citizens dont know that , so delusional grin

since it is free the crude it is of low grade but u cant complain on free stuff grin

how do u think they r competing with their neighbor

without free American and gulf money they would have folded long ago wink

anyways this should interest you

recently IB domestic ind... intelligence red flagged western corporations funding private NGOs for maligning Indi.. textile industry by linking it with slavery .

the prime accused a private western NGO WFF managed to ingress into ILO and publish together a paper with jacked/cooked up figures

u see how in the international forums NGOs can be turned into economic weapon's for targeting a country grin

similarly a indi... newspaper the 'hindu' a mofo left leaning darling of the liberals in the west published a news report accusing a man of trying to rap... a women injured in a stampede in mumbai.

this news was picked up by all western agencies at lightening speed and spread around with glee angry

funny thing is social media users posted videos which showed that the man was actually trying to save the women from the stampede rather than the shit the fuuking indian presstitudes imagined, this shows their actual motivation angry angry angry

this is not a isolated incident , u must have heard of indi... being equated with rap... last 5 years or so......

lol funny thing there are around 30 countries with higher per capita incidents of rap.... than ind.. most of them western countries (UN data)

but none of them got the global attention , reason becz it was designed to destroy and blunt Indian tourism industry and image
unfortunately mofo local and international media involved

now u get how narratives r made to suit the objectives of the shitty few mostly in the western countries cool

fun fact

60 % of rap.. cases in India r found false after receiving judgements in higher courts even though draconian indi... law favors the female heavily during prosecution.

never marry an ind.. women with ind.. citizenship, better to commit suicide grin grin grin

flying bicycle grin grin grin

tucano will serve its purpose

personally i believe it is a good deal if the objective was to recover stolen Nigerian money from US

also u will get the required fighters
i dont think ur commanders will overlook the requirement
personally i believe NAF should have placed orders withe the Chinese side for the jets
around 18 or more , Chinese would have been even proposed soft loans if need be
win win for all

why dont u guys write articles for newspapers about these issues,
will not hurt to try
whats their to lose
better Nigerians control the narrative rather than others

few of u guys just mail ur articles everyday untill it gets published grin
