Story for the gods

See how daft people could be, you were told to admit guilt to a crime you claimed you didn't commit and you did!

Who on earth does that? Even the guilty ones will not admit that they did wrong!

Baba, tell us another thing! No one put gun on your head to admit you took the money, you only wanted the shortest escape route and it boomeranged.
just shut up... You've not been in his shoes be talking like you don't know how lawless the government is

Not at all, cos this is the reason they lose their case, now this whole case just died since he claimed evidence was obtained under duress,
Im sure the EFCC had no other witness who was there at the confession plus no video evidence.
You people talk as if you didn't go to school. Mr Nwosu can say whatever he wants in court when he's testifying. But when its time for the EFCC to present it's own witnesses, it's there we'll hear how Mr Nwosu received the money into his account, the day the money was paid, how Mr Nwosu paid for his N30million naira house and so on. You actually think the EFCC will charge someone to court without presenting all these details?

I just want to believe that some comments here are out of sentiments if not then there is no hope for this country.

You think EFCC will take somebody to court with just a mere statement and no concrete evidence.

The man has been advised by his lawyer to say these things, hoping that the case would be thrown out.

I just wish the media will follow up this case

but his freedom was at stake, even legal luminaries like some judges accused of corruption admitted to crimes they claim they didnt commit because it was at gun point. The law recognises such scenarios like self defence and decisions made under duress. There is a place for such circumstances in law
I don't know whether to laugh or cry after reading your comment. I feel pity for our youths. How can an accused be 'shot and labelled self-defence' in an EFCC office? Who would believe that? Once you are innocent, you're not suppose to make a statement, written or oral without a lawyer. When people have been roped, they will tell every kind of story to get out. I saw your earlier comment and felt so disappointed, you're accusing Mr. President of a lot of things simply because you have heard the side of an accused. Even a thief denies it when caught red hand not to talk of a man looking for every way to manipulate the judicial system to gain freedom.

Actually he will be the one to prove this issue since he is the person alleging coersion. All efcc ve to do is present the evidence they ve against him
and do you agree EFCC must show account bearing his name as recipient of said sum?

The EFCC was dishing out statements issued by Dasuki? when? Was it not the DSS that arrested Dasuki? If today the DSS releases Dasuki for trial, the EFCC will show the court the paper trail of Usd2billion he stole from the CBN down to metuh and fani Kayode. Do you actually think the judge will rely on Dasukis testimony to convict him? He pleaded not guilty for Christ sake, he's not going to say anything to implicate himself. Same thing with this Nwosu man. I don't understand how you people think...

Mr Nwosu did not say he made the decision with gun at his head neither after being tortured. Shun unnecessary sentiments because Nwosu is Igbo.
And what will you make of this statement
He said unless I stated that I benefitted N30million, he would dump me in the cell.
I guess it is irrelevant, please let's be objective, the man personal freedom was threatened and he had no option than to oblige if that is the case. And I know that the EFCC cell is not an habitable proclivity that anyone would be proud to dwell in.
