On a good day in nigeria no police officer on duty is supposed to leave the police station with out a bullet proof vest with uniform.Even the cid (in mufty) are supposed to wear bullet proof vests its a war zone out there with armed robbers. |

Please enforce them and let be a punishment for violators, we all know police are lawless and always behave as if they're above laws. But what makes police have like 6 different uniforms is not clear to me cos all other force has one uniform. |

This Dolapo is cute fa. I think the police leadership factor looks in when picking an officer for their various PR positions. |

But that has become their stock-in-trade. They most often hardly wear uniform but lufty again. They even top the nauseating and criminal behaviour by putting on bedroom slippers. They are no different from criminals they claim to track. Nigeria is a jungle and a shame. |

Factfinder1: They can't be stopped, because these corrupt people in Aso Rock and in all the other 36 states governments used them (are still using) at one point another to rigged elections and snatches ballot boxes for them. Some politicians are still using them to intimidating, kidnapping and assassinate their opponents. And that also is giving them longer ropes to go about extorting money from various citizens(roads users and non-roads users). 2 Likes |

Hedonistically: What is wrong if they chase Internet scammers? That they are SARS does not mean they have to turn a blind eye to Yahoo boys activities. |

pls tell them..its so uncalled for...have had many scenerio whereby officers in mufti armed with guns were mistaken for armed robbers...its not good at all, there should be a kind of check on all officers of the law to sensitize them against such...shalom!! |

Ppro should stop talking nonsense without action. The same people will tell us that all policemen have been banned from setting up Road blocks, searching people's phones yet you see Road blocks in streets and corners. SARS guys just do whatever they like . They even cover the plate numbers of the vehicle they use . How do we know armed robbers and SARS. |

this guys are pathetically and abundantly crazy. Which punishment av they given to d officer whose viral photo went around wearing a plain cloth with bathroom slippers welding gun on express road dat all of us saw on news platforms the other day. av they ever tried to arrest him and sanction him to serve as deterrent?? No. but all they can say is, speak grammar on screens without brainy actions. |

ivolt:they go after every young man/ yound adult now.... if u wear nice clothes u r a yahoo boy and once they meet u something bad must happen to u, either they beat u n collect ur money, or they beat u n spray u with pepper spray or they just collect money from u... these guys read ur whatsapp msgs, emails, bank alerts......... is that right? they ask "where do u work?" even 80% of adults don't have job now.... if u encourage them that means u r jealous r envious of somebody doing yahoo, I don't like yahoo boys but that doesn't mean the SARS shud harass every other Nigerian youth.... u see them in front of ATM's looking at peoples faces.... how can u tell yahoo boy by his face 1 Like |

in d first place d guy was an insult to d ideology and generality of police job here in Nigeria in d face of d world. secondly for intentionally flouting d simple laid down law of not wearing his uniform on duty. and thirdly he is guilty of psychological stress he has put motorist through. because people would av been panic seeing him as an armed rubber on d highway. so if im a DPO in his station dis man is already in a very hot soup. |

userplainly: How do you differentiate a criminal suspect from a normal citizen? My point is not to encourage harassment of citizens but to show that there is nothing wrong in SARS getting involved in arrest of scammers. An army of soldiers where on parade when they encounter a bullion van robbery, do you think they should look the other way, because it is not their primary duty? |
