Loool Lexussad Thank you so much most especially for dedicating hours upon hours explaining the whole process to me, this I will never forget in a hurry. I wasn’t expecting to hear this soon btw, I was shocked when hubby got decision made email today. The turnaround time for us was just about 39 working days. I’m really pleased with this considering the huge backlog

Look through your dad's old records, you might just find the important document that saves the day.......

Meeting financial requirements is one part of the puzzle, the other important part of the puzzle, is your historical immigration entry details......

Just look for anything that would assist your spousal visa application.. Anything.........

Since have being back. I have done that. Look through all I could. Have turned the house upside down. I have look at everywhere literally everywhere.

I have never change name or any personal details. I just wish I found any sort of evidence. Coz I don't want them using it in against me in my new application even though I have explain it and apologise for breaking immigration rules due to solicitors bad advice

Hi everyone. It’s been a minute I was on this group earlier this year. Quick recap then I’ll get to my need for advice. I was in Canada and my boyfriend then was living in the uk under indefinite. We sought the services of a stupid lawyer who encouraged us to apply for a spousal visa that we didn’t really qualify for in the sense that it required us to have physically lived together for two years when in fact she told us it just meant lived together as in have been in a relation. (Our fault we should have done more research on that ambiguous phrase). Nevertheless , we were refused on grounds that we didn’t meet that requirement but everything else was good. I was not stamped or anything I just received the letter. Fast forward to now. We are in fact married now we got married in August traditionally and will be legally married in December. He recently got his citizenship. Would you advise we apply under priority when we do spousal application? I ask because usually they say if you’ve been denied before it’s not advisable to apply priority however we applied under different circumstances.

We have known applicants on this thread, that applied for spousal visa after a couple of UK/USA visa refusals, and their applications were all successful.....
NB: Apply after obtaining registry marriage certificate

His previous marriage is legally dissolved. You would not have a choice, than to apply with what you have got.
You are safe to apply for a spousal visa. The date on decree nisi, precedes the marriage.
Just ensure all your application documents checks out and are in date...... Remember the '28 day rule'......

You are only required to show maintenance money for one year.

You can't present evidence of meeting financial requirement without bank statement

detailing am a house wife and a list of the documents I'm submitting?

3. Do I need to print my application form and also submit at Biometrics taking?

To be on the safe side, simply pay another registry fee and conduct another ceremony........

Or ask if you can get another marriage certificate, to negate the original one issued....

The main reason that marriage might be deemed Illegal, is simply because when the marriage was conducted, also was the act of bigamy....

Bigamy is not recognised under British law, hence an illegal act....

Madam abeg, just conduct another registry marriage.....

Can someone be kind enough to answer this in addition to...

4. What do I need to say I'd be doing in the UK seeing am a house wife and joining my husband in the UK with my two children?

5. What do I say about my 9 year old son's schooling when we get to the UK?

6. Am I supposed to print my husband's statement of account showing he still has his maintenance funds?
Even though he already spent part of it in securing a family accommodation? If yes... how much more should he show?

Thank you so much for answering
