Mark had never been one to stalk a woman. In true fact, Rita was his first.

He yearned to have her attention, he wanted her so bad that he ached. In true fact, he would say that he had a connection with her. A connection that he found it hard explaining.

He wanted so bad to talk to her, but he had no idea how he was supposed to approach her.

The stalking went on for days, he found out where she lived and also where she worked.

Rita frowned, why couldn't this guy just give her a break. It was not like she was scared of the fact that she was being stalked. In fact she enjoyed the attention that Mark was giving her. I wonder if he works, cause he can't be dedicating all his time in stalking me, she thought aloud.

Today was the day that she was going to end this madness. She needed her space to think correctly, something that she never did when Mark was watching her her. Her whole being was always alert whenever he was close.

She walked up to his car and folded her arms with a "WTF LOOK"

To say that Mark was shocked was understatement, he hadn't been expecting her to approach him. He was sure that Richard would laugh his pants out when he told him of the incident that was about to happen.

"Be a man and talk to me" Rita said forcing a frown.

Mark knew that he had no other choice but to come out.

"I can explain" he said awkwardly causing Rita to burst out in laughter. Mark thought she gone crazy.

"Hello...., i am not one of your numerous girlfriends that you should be explaining to. I want you to stop stalking me because it is beginning to get me uncomfortable" Rita said

"I just need to know you, that is all" Mark said calmly and Rita gave him a soft smile.

"You could have just been a man about it and told me what you really wanted instead of following me about like a school boy chases his first crush" Rita said with a smirk, her mind going back to when she had still been nursing a crush for Mark in school.

"Dinner at 7pm today, pick me up from my place and get a place in mind" Rita said walking away with Mark watching the sway of her hips. Rita was extremely beautiful with a touch of innocence to her features, any man who wouldn't want her was a fool without eyes.

When Mark had told Richard about his encounter with Rita, Richard had laughed his ass off. Richard knew that his brother sucked when it came to dating and approaching women, but for a woman to let Mark in on it was Epic.

Mark drove into Rita's compound and was about knocking on the door when the door flew open. His mouth dropped open in amazement. There was just a word to describe Rita with, 'absolutely gorgeous'

"Wow" Mark said still in amazement staring at the royal blue long dress which fit her features like a second skin and the simple teardrop diamonds hanging on ear. Her hair was packed up in a high bun. She was refreshingly beautiful.

"Wow yourself too, you clean up pretty well" Rita said with a smile.

'Shall we?" Mark asked extending his hands

"Of course" Rita said taking his hands.

The dinner was extremely beautiful. This was a beginning for them both, Rita knew. They went on several dates and with every new thing that Rita learnt about Mark, she fell deeper in love. She knew now that it was time to let the ghosts of the past slide.

She couldn't keep blaming herself for the death of her best friend. It was time to let sleeping dogs lie. She had chosen the man that she wanted and she was not going to keep giving herself excuses not to be with him.

The first time that Mark had prophesied his love to her, the joy that she had felt had been indescribable. The previous week she had told Mark that she loved him dearly. Their relationship was growing fast like a wind. She had been introduced to all his friends and family and they had loved her. She had noticed that although Mark and Richard were identical, their traits and characters differed.

Mark had proposed to Rita six months after their first date. The preparations for the wedding were moving as fast as a speed boat. It was just like a fairy tale, until something happened.

Mark had been kidnapped.
