I've responded to your previous reply. You are the only one that provided the 'eye test' information here, thanks for that but it's also proof that the initiators of the said medical outreach did a poor job in informing the people otherwise lots of people would've been online supporting or acknowledging that they heard it in the churches etc.

We know there are more blind, deaf, crippled, and so many other handicapped individuals in the entire NC, NW and NE than in the SE.

Nigeria( North- Yoruba and allied groups) charity should begin at home. This is common sense.

Buhari and his goons should take their military eye doctors to his neck of woods where they are needed more. We had obviously made it clear that we don't need or want them.

What we need in SE is Nigerian ministry of works, coming to set camp in SE in conjunction with Julius Berger to build our dilapidated federal roads and infrastructures.
That's the easiest way to win the heart of Ndiigbo.

This again, is common sense.

And now anambra state and your saying it's a fake rumor

All Igbos should reject the free vaccination. If all the Igbo haters love it so much and since they have been attacking the Igbos should go collect it from the army. Imagine your perceive enemies showing you much love. Nothing when person no go see for 9ja

ARMY FREE MEDICARE, BEYOND THE IDLE GOSSIP.

By Charles Ogbu

Those who deploy soldiers to civilian spaces except in war time or rare cases where civil authorities are over-stretched, are nothing short of murderers because soldiers basically understand just two clauses:

Open Fire

And,

Cease Fire.

Anyone sending soldiers to administer any form of vaccines to school kids without sensitizing the parents of the kids and authorities in the area, have ulterior motives. Such a person should be feared. He couldn't have meant well.

In sane clime, touching school kids, asking them any question or making them participate in any activity not related to their academic well-being WITHOUT the consent of the parents or caregiver even with the consent of the school, will attract a court case or even a bullet in the head in areas where guns can be easily acquired.

But I understand that Nigeria has a way of messing up people's psyche and damaging their thought process. This is why an adult Nigerian with a University exposure will proudly blame people for suspecting the worst of an army which embarks on free medical jamboree for the same people it visited with a festival of death just few weeks before with no enlightenment, no explanations, no nothing!

Just a loaded gun! Force! Brute force!

Why not?

Aren't Ndigbo a conquered people?

I refuse to take gospel from Mr Lucifer!

Tufiakwa!

Even with all the sensitization in the whole wide world, I will let myself be consumed by worm before taking any free gift, vaccines or not, from the same army that just massacred dozens of my kind, maimed hundreds and drowned another dozens.

Such an army is a killer. My killer cannot be my healer.

Ask the Nigerian army and all those supporting this idiocy,

What is the name of the drug they are administering to people's children in Ala-Igbo None of them knows. If they do, they haven't told us.

What are they vaccinating people against? Mind you, they started it even before the outbreak of monkeypox so it COULDN'T have been monkeypox vaccine, assuming monkeypox has a vaccine. If it is not vaccination, what is it??

Why are they doing it through the back-door without proper sensitization What are they hiding?

Why did they not take the state govt along, seeing as Anambra state governor just instructed them to suspend it few hours ago??

Let us even assume but not concede that Nigerian army is strictly trained to play mother Theresa every now and then. The question is, should the army play mother Theresa to Ndigbo immediately after playing Father Hitler to the same Ndigbo by murdering their youths and drowning others in a muddy water as we watched in that grotesque video

Can our Pharaoh be our Moses at the same time??

Can our arsonist be our firefighter at the same time??

Can a dancing Python play our Medical Doctor at the same time??

I've said it before and I am forced to repeat it now, Nigerian army is an army of occupation. Their presence in the southeast is provocative.

Ndigbo do not have any confidence in the Nigerian army. We do not even have confidence in this govt as a whole considering Buhari's deep seated hatred for Igbos which he has never hidden.

If there is going to be any medical exercise against any disease in the southeast, it MUST be fully publicized and adequate sensitization programme carried out by RELEVANT agencies, not an army that has proven it has insatiable taste for Igbo blood. For now, it has not been announced anywhere that there is a vaccine against monkeypox. So, the army should take their free medical service to the IDPs in the NorthEast. They can even dash some of their equipment like syringes, cotton will etc to Asorock clinic where those things are more needed.

Just so we are clear,

Ndigbo have no issues with taking free medical service. They have issues with the body (Nigerian army) giving the service, the clandestine manner it was being handled and most importantly, the timing.

No educated person would allow you immunize his /her child without adequate sensitization and consent.

You are not as educated as you think.

What are the vaccines for exactly?

In this case, there was no vaccine! According to sources (am not in Anambra) The Nigerian Army planned medical outreach tbut IPOB released statements using social media claiming the NA planned to inject monkey pox in children. That led to panic withdrawal of children from school, The medical outreach was even to check eyes!

Also, remember the first rumour we heard was that soldiers were shooting children in school. That has been dropped for a lie that soldiers are forcefully injecting students and some children died as a result!

NIGERIAN ARMY DAY: 19 BATTALION GIVES FREE MEDICAL SERVICES, BOOSTS EDUCATION IN DELTA.

Respite came to the people of Warri North Local Government Area of Delta state on Thursday, July 06, 2017 when the 19 Battalion, Nigeria Army headed by the Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. M. Maaji celebrated this year’s Nigerian Army Day with free medical outreach to the people of various Wards and communities in Warri North LGA.

Lt. Col. Maaji in his advise to the youths, opinion leaders, council of elders and chiefs present at the occassion, tasked everyone of the urgency to embrace peace.

The Army conducted the same medical mission in the Delta a few months ago and it went very very well, no drama, no paranoia, no insult and abuse and all the idiotic and absurd rubbish you usual dramatic jokers bore Nigerians with all the time.

I really do believe den don swear for these ipob terrorists sha.

What are the vaccines for exactly?
I wanted to make a post a month ago about the events in the south-east, but I haven't had the time. Part of that post is about the similarities between events in the south-east at the moment and events in the north in the past.

And now there's another similar event.

Some politicians in the north used the polio vaccination programmes as a political tool in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They claimed that the vaccines were designed to sterilise northern muslim kids in order to reduce the population of northerners and muslims in Nigeria. They claimed that the plot was orchestrated by the "Christian south and western countries".

And now there's a similar propaganda campaign in the south-east.

In late August the Nigerian military announced that they were going to carry out Operation Python Dance II in the south-east in September and October. They said that the operation was tailored to train soldiers in internal security duties, provide joint training with civilian security services (police, civil defence, etc) and combat kidnapping, violence (like the Ozubulu killing), violent secessionist groups and prepare to support the civilian services in providing security for elections in the south-east.

The military also said that fresh troops that will be trained during this exercise might be integrated into the various states' security apparatus.

One of the components of the exercise that was announced in August was the free medical outreach.

The medical corps of the armed forces have been conducting free medical programmes for decades. In the past this was usually done on Army Day, Navy Day, etc. or when a new military facility was being commissioned.

Since 2010 the military has also conducted medical missions when on internal security duties, as a way of winning "hearts and minds". The medical missions show the people that the military is made up of human beings not monsters and that the soldiers are approachable. These medical missions have been held in the Niger-Delta, the north-east and around the country.

Ipob do not want the military to be seen as humans. They prefer that the military should be seen as monsters (this is one of the reasons why youths attacked a convoy of soldiers with stones and petrol bombs early in September). So you have a propaganda war between the military and Ipob.

Ipob prefers that the medical missions fail and what better way to make them fail than to ensure that nobody shows up for it? The best strategy would be to use the very same programme with which the army wants to win "hearts and minds" to ensure that they lose hearts and minds.

So they started a crazy rumour that the military os forcibly injecting kids with "monkeypox" and used this to create panic and pandemonium.

Nigerians are very emotional people (we often replace reason with emotions) and we love rumours (the crazier the better), so the rumour spread like wildfire. Copied

I'm an Igbo, I have relations in primary /secondary schools in SE, I have enough ground to share my take on this.

A military that was seen not long ago drowning and asphyxiating SEners in a muddy water, shooting sporadically into the air, injuring many, is now trying to bring health to the same people it brought death and sickness to.

You can't be a problem and a solution same time,no one is deceived.
