I watched some videos of Nnamdi Kanu inspecting a guard of honour formed by his Biafran Security Service and the Biafran National Guard in military uniform recently. It gave me the chills. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he hoisted the Biafran flag, flaunted a Biafran passport and a coat of arms, etc. There is a video of him openly soliciting for money at the World Igbo Congress in Los Angeles in the U.S. to buy arms to fight Nigeria in 2015 before his arrest. Effectively, Kanu had created a sovereign state within a sovereign state.http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/10/13/the-rise-and-fall-of-nnamdi-kanu/

Crappie bullshit!!! When that demented lunatic was threatening everybody in the country, silly idiots kept mute. It was when some f**kards saw that the FG wasn't willing to negotiate with the lunatic, that's when they finally found their voices which they are using to condemn the lunatic now. His next appearance in court is on 17th, heaven help some people on that day if they don't produce that lunatic!!! We know who and who helped that lunatic to escape. Nuff said. |

This is the first time I don't agree with Shaka Momodu 100% I agree just 30%. Nnamdi Kanu used divisive language, tacitly encouraged people worshipping him and did not do enough thinking through with his tactics and strategy when he had the benefit of his peak in popularity. However Nnamdi Kanu is THE REASON why restructuring is being discussed today and for that he deserves credit more than any other person in Nigeria today. The Arewa conference going on now is a fallout of IPOB agitation let nobody deceive himself. I was and am happy Kanu emerged because I knew that even if an independent Biafra was not feasible immediately, in the worst case scenario we would be granted a regional govt similar to pre-1966. That was when IPOB pressure was on. Now the north has no real pressure and they will define restructuring as it will benefit them. Shaka Momodu and his biro can do little about that. |

Nnamdi Kanu was destined to fail right from the beginning of his agitations. It was only a matter of time. Secession isn't something that you can get easily in this present era and no country will support a group in another country to seceed because they themselves have different groups in their countries trying to seceed too.IPOB made a big mistakes. How will Kanu a non entity demand from government to give him a date for referendum that isn't in our constitution just like that? Ipob should have used this opportunity to form a political party and elect their members into the various elective position just as Scotland and Catalans did.People that will fight for their cause.instead they decided to agitate using the wrong methods and it backfired. most people thinking that Biafra will come during our lifetime must be dreaming because Even if an igbo man becomes the president today,he will prefer to get his own share of the national cake than giving us Biafra. We should channel our efforts to vote the right people in ist. We can start demanding for restructuring ist and from there we move gradually till we get Biafra although it will take time.Catalan have been fighting for independence for almost 100 years yet they haven't been able to succeed. |

Many things Shaka Momodu said are on point. Nnamdi Kanu made many mistakes including almost falling for the bait of the Northern youth groups that offered him a Biafra composed of only the South East (that would have been the worst thing to happen to South East Igbos, cutting them off from access to the sea. Having said that, the government must now work to remove many of the injustices that gave Nnamdi Kanu points. The Igbos must stop being discriminated against. Igbo discrimination is an evil that must stop. |

joeyfire:Thank you very much, same with me here. I also on my part did not support many of Kanu's bombastic statements and knew he was steady pushing himself into trouble though the government has made matters worse for itself with the extra judicial killings of Kanu and his Biafra supporters instead of going through the judicial process |

LUGBE:Kanu is gone. He has disappeared and you won't see him again. Stop being deluded. Even Asari Dokubo has gone quiet. Kanu's followers have all left him. He deceived them but I think they also deceived him. His messages are not being carried out. Who wan die? He had the golden chance to make good use of his opportunities but he wasted it observing guard of honour from some hungry looking, shabbily dressed people called Biafra secret service etc, people were kissing his feet and bowing to him. He should've used his opportunities well but instead he continued in his hate speeches, daring Nigeria and his ibo folks who disagreed with him, calling black people 'stupid'. Sorry Kanu is gone. His voice you won't hear again. |

Kanu is a disgrace to himself, parents, family, the Igbo nation and humanity. He allowed the praises of his followers to get to him and he finally messed up big time. How would a pig make up his mind to sacrifice the lives of millions all because he wants to become an emperor, he talks and insults anyhow and dares a sovereign nation? Buhari actually gave him a long rope because he ought to have been in jail ever since if this was the UK or US. |

It's obvious that Kanu is a coward and a coward can never be a reasonable leader. Kanu sense of reasoning is so ebb for any reasonable to want to dialogue with. |

Kanu might be gone/dead but the Biafra spirit is something that has refused to die for 50 yrs even with brutal force, it will still rise up again except we sit down and agree to restructuring without blackmail from the north |

What if.. What if igbos had oil like the south South What if they had vast land like the north. What if they had a state with a very large economy like the south west. Only God knows what they would have done to the rest of us. As it is now, they have nothing. They are all over the country trying to make a living and calling themselves investors. Majority of them are not enlightened. (an illiterate fulani man in the bush with his radio to his ears is more knowledgeable than an igbo man in the market) That's why they are easily misled. And yet they are beating chest up and down feeling more important than others. Ha! |

“Some idiots who are not educated said that they’ll arrest me, and I ask them to come, I’m in Biafra. If any of them leaves Biafraland alive, know that this is not IPOB. Tell them what I said. Tell Buhari that I am in Aba and any person who comes to arrest Nnamdi Kanu in Biafraland will die here." -Nnamdi Kanu Kanu has been making remarks like this long before he was even arrested, and some people make it seem like the Nigerian military arrested a peaceful freedom fighter. There was a video I saw around 2015 where he was talking to a group of people in Washington or so, and he was asking them for money so he can buy arms to fight the Nigerian army. He said if he had a gun he would kill Buhari himself. Majority of the Igbo people in the audience disagreed with him and he started getting angry. |

![]() its an irony how people who call IPOB terrorists still complain about how bad Nigeria is you know the system is not working, and you dont want others to leave the useless system for you alone and abokey to enjoy anyway, Buhari has already borrowed enough that Naija wont pay off in 20 years, keep it up |
