Well God came through for me in the end.

my ielts history is as follows

IELTS Academic, 2014.. LRWS 8.5, 7.5, 7, 7
IELTS General Nov 2016.. LRWS 7.5, 8, 7.5, 8
IELTS General Oct 2017.. LRWS 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5

I'm guessing it will still be in the 430 range. Look at the CRS composition of the last draw and you'd see why.

Awwww so sorry to read this. Please apply for the remark and hopefully they will increase your score.

@justwise @40manlappy @Santino1 @Kontagious @threadstone @all

Please does anyone know how long this program will last?

I just got employed in a good company - where I get professional experiences related to my field of study with good pay. And something tells me I should grow a bit in this company before relocating. But then again, I don't know how long this is gonna last.

Anyone help please.
I believe you've received well thought out responses.

Pursue the PR while you're still at your job. Not sure one can tell how long it will take from the very first step to expiration of your visa if eventually stamped but to be conservative, say a year. That's you having one more year at your job to decide to leave or not. Even after that, like Hephgirl suggested, you can still do short landing and return to your job giving you more time to acquire your professional experience.

To tell how long the Express Entry will be open, that will be quite tasking.

Hello good people,

Please how can I upload about 22 pages of SOA to the placeholder. Have read on this thread that some people were able to upload up to 50 pages. Abeg help a brother. Is there a particular software used to compress the documents or some other means to get it done?

Thanks in advance..

Have you been able to compress it? Mine was more and it worked for us. I can't remember what we used though, we just did a google search and found an app online.

As per remarking, there are some points you should note.

While Reading and Listening are very objective tests (you are either wrong or right, no in-between), Speaking and Writing are more subjective in the sense that a significant leverage is given to the examiners. Your score is based on 2 independent examiners' assessments and usually, whoever is gonna remark your test will come from the same line-up of examiners.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Great advice here. One might be cash trapped to re-register but if you by chance (without forgetting preparation) get the desired score, from personal experience, I can tell you will forget the 68k. If the concern is POF isn't complete, trust that 68k will find its way back to POF when the time comes, if its however on a general case, the extra 68k expended would still not stop the journey.

10 weeks waiting on remark is very long and a daunting wait at that, that's if the remark comes back within the 10 weeks sef.

The speaking result has a way of surprising test takers.

On another case, you might consider leaving out practicing for few days but focus more on exam tips. Please take time to review tips shared on this thread. If your result is a true reflection of your ability (for the IELTS), you need a considerable effort in the remaining three sections. GlitteringStar among a host of others shared quite a number, her tips might be long to read but you will benefit a lot.

Then also try check out tips on Youtube and other sites mentioned, be careful for you will see a lot of videos, many might not be what you need but if you come by a good video, you will know. You might take clue for sites to visit from the tips shared.

grin just thought to make it detailed so that those who are confused btw WES and IQAS could make an informed decision. moreso UNN folks would be able to infer how long transcript and verification process could take.

Tip: To engineers who intend to practice in canny, respect yourself and choose WES for Canadian licensing sake.. else you go do the WES again after PR

What if you use ICES
would you still be requested to use WES again?

Hello house, pls I need help from any OOU alumni that has gotten their transcript sent to WES. How much it cost to get the transcript and how long it took for the whole process. I learnt money for transcript is different from the money for courier. Was told to pay 51k for foreign transcript and extra 16k for courier. Want to confirm if this is also what you paid or there is a better way to it. Thanks

Congratulations to einsteino and others that had great IELTS results....for those that didn't get the desired scores don't be dismayed, pick yourselves up and re-register for another. It's the end that justifies the means truly, no rush in this thing.

Some of us are sitting petty in the pool at 416 with no other means than pnp which is now more restrictive for us outside Canada. But it is well, when your time comes, no one will be able to take it away from you.

Hello my good people,
Shout out to all the gurus in the house. I've been following back to back.
Good news, my ielts result today- L-8.5 R-7 W-7 S-7 . Still processing my ECA
On POF,i have noticed from peeps here that they buy their treasury bills before ITA, is that to be on the safe side?
On work experience, Can there be a gap between the jobs am claiming points for because I want to be claim points for my internship and Nysc year but there is a 6 months gap which I wasn't working.
Then, Hopefully,by the time I get ITA, I might be out of job as I would have just completed Nysc. Is that a problem?

Please I need answers from all, thanks
