Please, what's the best way/medium to learn from?

Not a good way to practice. i would advice downloading the videos and turning off data, use your ear piece and practice as many full length listening practice questions as possible. There are tons of resources on youtube. Ielts practice questions with answers are so many on youtube.

What happens to streaming the videos live from YouTube? Does downloading it expend less amount of data?

IELTS Listening is like a game, for every game you need focus, speed and accuracy. focus to really understand what is being said, speed to catch up on the topic and the speaker's line of thought. Accuracy, putting down in writing what you just heard has to be done as accurately as possible, that's where spelling also comes in. Many of the listening answers are short easy answers, but when you transcribe the answers to the main booklet, watch your spellings o. when i did mine way back, i had 38, the two i missed was as a result of wrong spellings.

English is not my mother tongue doesn't help here.

I don't think it's right to say CPA needs WES. They require that your transcript sent directly by the institution and they also accept WES ICAP not the regular ECA as an alternative to sending your transcript.

They reserve the right to ask for further info is they think it's necessary. People have successfully transferred to CPA without WES so it's not a cast in stone.

My point is using WES as an accountant can save you the stress of asking your school for transcript again for CPA sake..one can just tell WES to upgrade to ICAP but it doesn't mean that CPA requires WES before you can transfer to membership.

For the Pharmacists in the house who are interested in the express entry, the process of getting an ECA is different. The designated body is PEBC (Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada) not WES or any other agency

Except if they have masters. They can evaluate the masters with any evaluation body.

Hi, sorry for not responding in your previous posts.

My B.Sc had been successfully verified and accepted by WES.

However, my Diploma documents were left unattended to along side other diploma documents awaiting verification at the records office.

Anyway, I discovered this yesterday when I went to the Records office to make a complain and made sure the documents were transferred to the Diploma office for processing.

I would keep you posted when the verification is sent.

IELTS of today... The listening did me strong thing...after they had stressed us....and it was taken last. I'm not confident of that result anymore.

Do not worry just pray and believe that it's a done deal, in my case I wasn't sure of the 2 questions frm d map, 2frm matching and sure missed 2 multiple choice questions, but I prayed eh and how I landed at 8.5 I can't say how, but only say it can only be God, so just keep hopes alive it will end in praise.

I guess they're making it harder.. That multiple questions part is an issue.. Senate shld set up an 8-man committee.

MCQ was my bane too. but i was able to tackle it by method of elimination i.e cancelling out each option they invalidated. To illustrate, if the speaker says something about option A but shows it is a mere distraction, i would cancel it on my question paper and wait for the next option to be talked about. the advantage of this is that it helps you narrow down on the likely answer, it also reduces the chance of my mind drifting since i would be active all through. in the end, even when i couldnt keep up with one of the option, i was able to extrapolate what the answer may be since i have cancelled out a number of wrong ones.

with this technique, it is important to read the options before the speech starts, so as to get your mind acquainted with them and help you quickly locate each soon as they are on it. Also, it is important to perfect it before the exam by printing a copy of listening questions and trying the approach out.

The last part was so long...chai. BC con put true false ng for the second time in that same reading. The 2 I missed has been giving me sleepless night cuz I can't imagine otherwise. All to God who knows what the outcome 'll be.

What if you need to rewatch? Downloaded video is better unless you have enough data.

Imagine the employer telling me they don't give ref letter to ex employee..... And they can't even give me a letter or email saying they can't give ref letter.

Please what's the content of a ref letter a colleague can give someone? Is it the same format as the company's own?
