There is this thing I'm curious about towards yahoo boiz. I have few of them as friends, I notice that some of them when they are broke they engage in serious prayers. I mean better prayers o, some go on fasting and within few weeks or month. Dem go collect. Now my question is: does God really answer their prayer? Since it's obvious their livelihood Na base on fraud. I need answers abeg. |

knc: The truth is, there are universal laws in this universe that works for anyone, regardless of whether you are Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Atheist, or Muslim. If you do some certain things, you will get some certain results. Do you know that the richest man in the world, Bill Gates is an Atheist? Even Warren Buffet doesn't believe in God, yet he is the second richest man in the world. As someone mentioned above, go and read Think and Grow Rich, you will understand these universal principals better. But, some of the things you mentioned those your Yahoo Boys friends do work for anyone, regardless of belief. Fasting is one of them...prayer is also another, and it doesn't have anything to do with what/who you are praying to, but it has everything to do with the belief in what you are praying to. You can even be praying to a rock, as long as you have a strong belief that it will answer you, you will get your answer. Go and read your Bible, you will see that every time Jesus healed someone, he always said one thing- 'YOUR BELIEF HAS HEALED YOU. It is really your belief in a thing that brings results, not that thing/entity in itself. Another thing that works in the favor of Yahoo boys is their determination and focus on one goal. Uniqueness of purpose works wonders, but most of us have scattered thoughts and goals...we want something today, tomorrow, we have changed our minds.
