lolawilliams:he doesn't deserve the mvp, everything is just being handed to him. Now the real thing starts, "lettuce see" |

A40:Hayward had a successful surgery and reports say there were no complications after the surgery, however, he is scheduled for a post surgery evaluation in the coming weeks. I am just happy the young man is okay and he looked comfortable from the post surgery videos I have seen. As for the roster, J. Brown is legit, in both losses he proved he has worked on his perimeter game. He is difficult to guard and I think he would prove he is legit this season. Tatum, sometimes looks jittery, however, that can be attributed to being a rookie. He is very talented but I am not expecting him to make a huge jump this season. The onus right now rests on Kyrie, Smart, Big AL and Brown. We can apply to the NBA for a Disabled Player Exception (DPE), which is worth $8.4 and without any question or hesitation, the NBA should grant that. Its left to Danny Ainge to apply for the exception. |

Donlittle:People are already drawing conclusions. OKC played one game against the sh itty a ss knicks. Lonzo made his debut with the heaviest weight of expectation on a rookie since LeBron. And I don't even like the kid. Point is, saying there's still a long way to go is an understatement. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:20pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
WeissBarlow:I am not drawing conclusions. The kid has had it handed to him since college. True or not? Now the real thing begans, His father said he is better than curry, and now pat out scored him. Lettuce see |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:20pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
I still don't understand why folks have high expectations for Lonzo and the Lakers this season. Their roster is average to put kindly, they look like college basket ballers trying to run a scheme. The core of that team is very young and inexperienced, the experienced player like Deng, Lopez have not particularly had successful seasons. I am more excited about J. Embiid, Simmons and the Sixers. They are definitely in contention for a post season spot in the eastern conference. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:25pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
Roland17:The Sixers are most definitely going to the playoffs. The Lakers are not, honestly I just feel bad for lonzo. He seems like a humble kid but his father has put a target on his back. BTW Simmons > Lonzo |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:27pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
Donlittle:His father said. Not him. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 3:33pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
lolawilliams:Let's not kid ourselves here, thar Summer League MVP was undeserved. He wasn't even the best LAKER at the Summer League. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 4:14pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
lolawilliams:Its the pressure he's got to deal with it..He's not a bad player. No offence, till tomorrow i will always give Lebron ups.. Lebron has been dealing with pressure right from the first day he was drafted till present day and he's dealt with it very well..... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 4:26pm On Oct 20, 2017 |

| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 7:22pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
lolawilliams:You know!.....Watch out for that Lad. I know He is older than your average rookie but He just might be pound for pound the best player in this year's draft considering He came in with little fanfare. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:39pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
VivaLaByke:Which pressure? Definitely not NBA pressures, maybe personal/ family pressures. He is not even the best player on the Lakers roster and that is the fact, so what pressure are we speaking about here? There are no expectations for Lonzo and the Lakers this season bro. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:46pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
Roland17:Not the best player on Laker's roster... No expectations for Lonzo this season... Lord have mercy... ![]() Okay o. |

Lolawilliams, joor tori olorun.. Stop this thing. Ehn!! Abeg!! Igbawo la beere love t'aan kiss?? ![]() Stop it. If Donlittle make that LBJ deal go through I go vex sef. Do better and I might give you better package. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:58pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
Roland17:No expectations? The messiah who some analysts are calling the next magic Johnson, who is supposed to lead the new Lakers into another Showtime era? No expectation? Really? You may argue about the source of the NBA Pressure, but you can't deny that it's there. Like i said, I don't even like the kid and I'm here defending him.
|
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:04pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
VivaLaByke:LBJ was covered since before he became a high school senior with speculations he would enter the draft before he graduated. He brought media teams to their games, hall of famers came from far and wide just to have a glimpse of "the chosen one", he was immediately compared to not magic Johnson but the greatest player in NBA histroy, heck even his team mates were hating on him. Nothing compared to the pressure Lonzo is facing? ![]() Seems the other guy was right. You ARE smoking some kind of weed. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:13pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
WeissBarlow:3-5. Go sit. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:19pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
VivaLaByke:what does 3-5 have to do with this? whats wrong with this kid? ![]() |

WeissBarlow:"The chosen one" has a 3-5 finals record. Again....Go Sit. |
