1. Arch Angels.

The highest rank of Angels are called Arch Angels.

Now, they are two.

The two Arch angels are Gabriel and Michael.

The third was Lucifer who is now Satan.

Lucifer was more powerful and attend directly to God more than Gabriel and Michael.

Lucifer was so close to God. He walked in the midst of the fire of God.

He was created for worship.Very Beautiful and full of splendor.

If he flaps his wings, musical instruments and wonderful songs of praise to the Almighty emerge.

Until He proposed to Lift his throne above God's.

And There was war in heaven. He was defeated and he took one- third of the Angels with him.

These are called demons.

Lucifer coveted a position above the stars of God and iniquity was found in his heart. A reasonable fellow could have tendered for apology, but he took it personal until rebellion, until he was cast out and his follower

and Jesus in Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Lucifer was a Cherub (Singular of Cherubims. A classification we shall deal with later)

Precious stones were his coverings. Sardius, topaz, diamond, Beryl, Sapphire, emerald, and Gold.

He was created for the service of the Most High God.

He walked in the midst of fire of God. Ordinary Angels could not come this close.

Only the Cherubims.

They have genjutsu and taijutsu

Michael could be sent on errands. Gabriel also.

Lucifer did not leave the presence of God.

It's a pity.

Now, who are the Cherubims?

They cover the throne of the most High God!!!

Wings of Extreme Height and width

They have four wings. Two wings are stretched upwards.

The remaining two are used to cover their bodies

They have four faces. Beautiful to behold.

They have the face of a man, ox, Lion and an eagle.

They were created to stand in the presence of the Most High God.

So, Splendor and Glory is all about their bodies.

Two Cherubims face each other with the throne of God in between.

Their massive wings are used to cover this throne.

The Almighty God is seated between these Cherubims.


They are surrounded by flashing lightning and brilliant light.

Their legs are straight; their feet are like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze.

under their wings on their four sides they had human hands.

When they moved in groups, their wings touch each other's wing. They move in a straight line.

. Fire moved back and forth round about them.

, and lightning flashed out of this fire.

They speed back and forth like flashes of lightning. Whenever they moved.

They have a wheel of fire. Precious stones, etc. Each one of them. The Spirit of the Cherubims is the wheels.


When the cherubims move, the sound of their wings is like the roar of rushing waters,

and like the sound of an army. When they stand still, they lowered their wings.

Now, Let's describe the Seraphims.


Seraphims have six wings unlike the

Cherubims that have four.

Two wings cover their faces.

Two cover their feet

The remaining two they use to fly.

They are associated with the Glory of God.


That's why their faces are covered with their wings.

That is why their feet are covered too.

So that the can stand his glory and be able to approach it.

Remember that Moses was asked to remove his sandals?

Because the place was a holy ground? (I guess the Glory of God was in that place. That's why the bush could burn in fire and not destroyed)

Seraphims cover their feet too.

Because of the Glory of the Ancient of Days.


What A mighty God we serve

Heaven and Earth adore him

Angels bow before him

What a mighty God we serve.

We are done describing them. Cherubims and Seraphim's.

Other Angels are not with these description.

They have their wings, massive, and are extremely Numerous.

Without number. These class do not go near the throne of God.

Only the Cherubims and Seraphims.

Michael and Gabriel are either seraphims or Cherubims.


Recall that

Gabriel told Zechariah that he stands in the presence of God.

He had to come for the Prince of Persia to step aside

Prince of Persia was a demon in charge of the Persian reign.

Michael, the angel of warfare had to show up for that demon to step aside.

The Devil was fighting for the soul of Moses After death. Michael was there to collect his soul.

.(This is in tune with what Jesus said that after death, Angels come for the soul of a child of God.)

That is Hierarchy.

He had to call the Lord.


Humans however can use the name of Jesus.

Michael is the Capital of the Host of the Lord.

Host means innumerable Angels.

Amazing how it wasn't enough for Lucifer (aka Satan) to hold the highest angelic position ...he was right underneath the Godhead.
He wanted to be God the Father.
Reminds me of us humans.....always striving for the top position when everyone doesn't need to be be in certain positions.
Question is: how did sin arise in the heart of an angel ...in a perfect place?
That's what is called the "mystery of iniquity".
That's not something we will know until we make it to the kingdom.
