Ede what? If I share my experience with edegbe(Asaba to Lagos), you will... Well let me not spoil biz for them sha. I believe they might have improved by now, 3yrs after my ugly experience with them.
edegbe is still the same, benin ugbowu park and their Lagos volks park filled with touts cum drivers with uncouth behaviour.
There was a time i entered a bus to Benin, and one called a girl a prostitute just because she refused to pay too much for some few luggages.
Another time, i boarded from benin to lagos volks and paid my full fare but the driver stopped at mile 2 and refused to continue...he didnt explain and the ones at mile 2 were calling my bluff. The driver pulled out a cigarette and started smoking, ignoring me and he was on duty. I might still have his plate number.
The last journey, the driver, an elderly man was having a licking mouth, insulting the passengers, when we got lagos and he was trying to oppress a girl, a passenger on the bus too, we gave him a taste of his own medicine. If not that GIG buses at ugbowu are usually not there, why would i follow Edegbe... God help us and this buses

apart from ABC,who are quoted in the Nigerian stock exchange and therefore have an image to protect, the rest of the transport companies are junkundecided as in "time bomb"

If you love your life, stay away from cross country. Had a terrible experience with them in 2015.

Did road with them from Lagos to Ghana. The driver recklessly killed a Togolese immediately after aflawo. The funniest thing is that immediately we drove to the nearest police station to make a report, the Ghanaian police men quickly hid him to avoid the wrath of the angry Togolese mob who chased us to the police station. Leaving us behind in the vehicle. If not for a nice Ghaniam who took me and wifey to his house to save us, only God know what would have happened.

All these happened around 1am.

Useless transport company

If you have used them before, you'll understand that its better for them to go extinct than put people's lives at risk. I also had a terrible experience with them.

The reason why most businesses in Nigeria fail is because of poor quality management...

When I say management I'm not referring only to the senior staff, it encompasses everybody cos the success or failure of a business does not depend only on one individual

Another issue is the Nigerian factor - An average Nigerian employee is dishonest and will steal you blind once you look away for 5 minutes.

If you doubt me, ask Dangote and the multinational companies operating in Nigeria why they don't have Nigerians as the Managing Directors in their various companies

isn't it a Nigerian problem, becouse Dangote truck drivers are The most reckless

Lol.... Cross Country is the worst transport company I've ever taken when travelling.

My first time going to Ghana, I went with them. They'll tell you they'll start the journey by 6am, journey won't start until 9 or 10am. You'll now enter Ghana around 1am the next day (all this delay and all happened in all the 4 times I went with them).

Had some friends that were coming back to Nigeria with cross country. As usual, cross country told them to come by 5am this time. Their bus didn't leave the park until 11am. They were still in Ghana as at 4pm. They slept at aflao border that day and got into Nigeria the next day in the morning/afternoon.

Since I noticed all these things, I vowed not to do anything with them again. Now GUO is BAE.
GUO would leave Ghana 6am and I'll be at iyana ipaja by 3pm..... My house by 4 or 5pm.
unfortunately
I don't know but it seems Ghanaian bus companies dont like plying The Nigerian route

Op did not type "fiance". He typed "fiancé". He probably omitted the other "e" (an understandable error).

But think it, how many naija babes fit dey book money for "snacks" when travelling with boo? And financing the entire trip herself?

Very true. Even thought this their GH EXPRESS (THE BIG RED LUXURIOUS BUSES) go to Nigeria. But I was wrong. Definitely there will be a reason for them not transporting people to and from Nigeria.

Cross country is one of the worst transport companies for long distance travel. I once had a very ugly unforgettable experience travelling with them to Bauchi via Abuja-Kafanchan-Jos. These guys have lost it!

Op, your experience with Cross Country or Cross Border was quite terrible.

Next time, when traveling a long distance, do well to board an airplane. It's quite cheap, safe, fast and reliable...At least 20k would have saved you from this mess.

Lol... very true. I guess they've not mastered the art of bribery yet.
You know those Nigerian drivers that ply the lagos Ghana route bribe those customs and whatever other patrols they have on the road. They also factor in the bribe money into our transport fee.
