Kuwait would have been the best option. Ogbeni do you think the monetary value of any country has effect on your salary/wage? The higher the value of the currency, the lower the denomination of your salary. So don't expect your salary to be in thousands, rather it may end up in hundreds. So what do I think? I think you should go to well known country, should incase of any unforeseen circumstances, you will know where to run to....

Thanks for the good points you raised. Yes, there is a tendency of a facelift in the salary one earns, and that has being one the reasons behind mass exodus of our country men to other countries. I think no place is safe if we are to put contingencies in benchmark. Bahrain has one of the fast rising economy with good reform despite being a Muslim country.

All roads leads to Abuja.

@justijesu and other experienced experts in the house....how long will the result attestation take in Abuja and must the three offices(ministry of education, ministry of foreign affairs and UAE embassy) all endorse\append each stamp on a certificate. I mean must the 3 stamps be on one certificate? thanks

Well, I did mine (MOE and MOFA) in just a day. Get to MOE early enough, though yhu would be told by those security officials at the gate that yhu can't enter until 10 a.m for non staff. Get every necessary documents required of yhu and patiently interact with colleagues yhu would meet on ground for any clarification on any issue. When done with MOE, move straight up to MOFA, be ready to pay some cash if yhu wantu get it done same day. But then, if yhu wantu follow protocol, my dear, yhu are on a long thing. And that is my reason for asking yhu to interact with colleagues yhu might meet on ground, yhu never can tell who could be of help. It worked for me though....

As per Embassy thingy, I didn't do mine o cox of money. Was told I would be able to do that as well in Dubai (dunno how true this is though). I so humbly submit.

Thanks.

@sheunwizzy01 this is a wonder submission to me...Like how much did u pay at those offices here in Nigeria(MOE and MOFA)? For the embassy, how much did they tell u to pay? Are U sure it wouldn't cost more in UAE?

You can't do this in UAE, it has to be done in Nigeria.

Please check the front page of this thread for amount charged and days to visit the UAE Embassy in Abuja, the normal UAE stamp takes 5 working days but if for express it should be within 22,000naira thereabout.

To clarify;
1) UAE attestation is 18,000 naira Per document i.e 36,000 for waec and bsc.
2) UAE admin embassy is as Tsukunda House central Business district Abuja.
3) UAE attestation takes 2 days, hence when you are done with a) min of edu b) min of foriegn affairs, you head to the Tsukunds House and submit, then you are given an account number and name and directed to a UBA inside Transcorp Hilton Hotel to pay, afterwards you head back to UAE admin and they process it and give you a time the following day to pick your attested doc.

What's the implication of this? I have done that of MOE and MOFA and my flight is slated for Nov 2.

MOFA in Dubai will not stamp it if they don't see the UAE Embassy Abuja stamp on it.

The implication is that the good jobs that will come your way may jump and pass you. Your certificate may not be considered hence you may settle for menial jobs for unskilled workers(with peanut salary). You still have time to run to Abuja now and authenticate in UAE embassy.

he's not scaring anyone, but their reasons for choosing Bahrain can not be justified at all.
