There are foundation programs available for students interested in studying Nursing in Ireland; However, her not having O-level background in science related courses may pose as a challenge as students need to satisfy exceptional science-related O-level results before applying for the foundation/pre-bachelors program- If she however has exceptional O-Level results she may try applying.

Another challenge is the financial aspect, Tuition fees for a Nursing degree is at least EUR 17,000 per year and duration of a bachelor honors degree in IRELAND is 4 years.
Thanks
Money no be problem cool

Hello,
For which admission intake? Jan / September ?
If for September, applications will be accepted from Feb, 2018.

*** Not to be pessimistic, NUI hardly replies individuals , you may however contact them using students within the University community.

Cheers

I thought you are in Ireland
Then maybe cork
ICaSNg:

Apologies, I won't be able to answer your questions as you intend. However, as someone who have studied abroad I'll share my thoughts:

When making decisions on/about study destinations, things to consider is quality of education , International diversity and University acceptance /support of International students, cost of living and job opportunities. The last 2 should be weighed to reach an equilibrium / balance e.g

Most province, state or counties have very low or much more affordable cost of living but little or no work opportunities either casual part-time work or career/professional work opportunities.

I don't live in Ireland so hopefully someone who lives there and is aware of the above may shed more light.
Cheers

ICaSNg:

Minimum wage for 2017 is EUR 9.25 .
Its worthwhile to mention not all job roles will pay the above per hour--- You're to expect at least EUR 7 to 8.50 per hour depending on your location.
Definitely YES... A student is entitled to 20 hours per week for work during term-period and as much as 40 - 50 HOURS or more during holidays/ summer.

Exception however applies to some courses or program.
For example, DIT has a MSc in Sustainable development- This course involves unpaid 16 hours internship per week in a company specified by your University. This means you have limited hours left per week for a paid casual/ part-time job.

Cheers

Well for computer students, National College of Ireland (NCI) is ur best bet...its located in the city centre and they give scholarships. Well I stay on campus soo its not stressful for me..but its very expensive to stay on campus... Getting an accommodation outside is stressful..very stressful!!!!!! U'll have to switch from one hostel to another before u get a permanent place to stay especially in DUBLIN..

Hi, I have just been given admission for my masters program in your school. I need financial aid. Please, advice me on how to go about getting one. Thank you.
