That's interesting, I also like the fact EU countries have their character- You can distinguish them largely based on their layout and architecture. Ask afam4ever he hates Eu for these their 'old' buildings but prefers the shiny box architecture of NY and co lol

It's a good question.Do you know the cost and stress of relocating? Maybe you're just a "newbie"...Most relocation is done by an individual who after settling sends for family! Even at that it takes alot of time and resources too.

I could'nt help but laugh at some of the comments I've read here. It made me remember a dp I saw where they indicated ladies be hiding their boo, only to spring up an IV one day, expecting to get money off you for asoebi, after which the hiding begins again, only to announce yet again that there's a baby, expecting that you will be generous enough to drop an envelope. Then, the cycle resumes again

But on a serious note, sometimes its not even the village factor that makes people keep their relocation plans to themselves. I remember getting the most demoralizing lecture from my friend when I informed her I was relocating. I heard of how I was running away instead of staying to fix the problem(I am not sure Messiah appears anywhere in my name) and how I was only interested in the freebies the foreign country had to offer and all sorts. This was from someone who had never even been to Cotonou! I felt so low after the conversation and this was me who was already anxious and nervous. Needless to say, I learnt to keep my mouth shut after that, as it was even out of courtesy I informed people not necessarily because I owed anyone a copy of my itinerary!

Maybe not necessary more diverse but race doesn't play a huge role, if you know what I mean. You're more likely to have to tick black, white, Asian etc in the U.S. than in the Uk

Do this for good 6 - 9 months and see how your credit limit will rise to $10,000 or more with juicy offers knocking on your door with mostly 0 APR,and your credit score in the range of 750 -850.

Now back to your advise using debit card,is it not same money you intend to spend from credit card you will also spend using your debit card?So why not just spend it from you credit card in which will make you have better offers if you want to get a car,house etc than spending from your debit card with not benefit to gain.

The major problem people have with credit card is impulse spending or lack of finance management.That is when debt start piling up and it makes them run bankrupt.

And when the juicy credit card limit is increased because you are managing your credit well, that would be the start of temptation and running the credit card as a debit card. Then holder starts joggling one credit card against the order card offering 0% interest rate for 6 months.

As I stated, if one feels it can be controlled. Fair cop. But many think they can and eventually run into trouble....
