I wasted my mb downloading the full season and ended up watching only like episodes den deleting it.

it was like I was watching an extended episode of Law and order

The Night Of was one hell of a ride. A sure thrill fest. Kept me guessing till the final closing credits. But what grabs one the most is the overarching sense of dread... which was the whole point, I guess. The audience are supposed to feel like they are watching things unfold in Naz' POV.

The Night Of is also pretty adept at showing the perspective of the police and the defendants (I haven't seen this on any show since The Wire tbh). A terrific primer on what NOT to do when picked up by cops. The interrogations & subterfuge reminded me a lot of the detective tactics from David Simon's book Homicide. Overall, I love the hyper-realism of the show. Don't knock it bruv, The Night Of is lit.

Caved to the hype and watched it when it drop last year. The first season was average for me at best... many loved it though. I don't get the hype at all - I think those kids are bunch of little sh*ts.

Season 2 just dropped and people are already raving about it like dogs with rabies. Don't think I'll be in a hurry to watch this one. I'm not buying the hype this time.

anyone watching THE BRAVE? They shot their latest episode in Lagos Nigeria. I thought the DSS responded to hostage situations or the hostage unit of the police force. But in the episode it was the army Special forces that responded ��. And the uniform I don't know especially the red beret worn by the commander it's just I've never seen any military officer like that. And lastly the accent, the way actors playing Nigerians in foreign movies talk sometimes it sounds just fake. They try too hard to get in an accent. I don't know if it's because am not a foreigner but I don't sound like that to myself.
PS-- THE BRAVE is a damn good show believe me. Don't mind my ranting above.

I love the way the season 1 left us with so many unanswered questions which screamed continuity. Well, season 2 left us with none....except that the shadow monster wasn't really explained? I just don't see season 3 happening....but then I'm cynical.

The funny thing is that the so called Nigerian scenes weren't even shot in Nigeria, rather in a studio somewhere in California or British Columbia.
