Eruditor:Yikes, did you even read that? Stop saying its to demystify him, its not uncommon for commentators to talk about a persons family especially if their parents were basketballers, sometimes its to their credit because what usually follows is something like "he has a sound understanding of the game". They mention Kyries father As recently as a few days ago i heard them mention markkanens father when praising him. I dont know why on earth any reasonable human would think the way you do. Hence, why telling us about his dad's shooting prowess can be interpreted the way I have been doing it. Thank you for making my case for me.Lmao! you're just confused. Doesnt that just mean they know that and they're not trying to "demystify" him as you claim? again since when has mentioning an nba players father, especially a former player been a ploy to discredit? Do you know how ridiculous you sound? Gee, what will be the essence of the black members of the 100-man panel hating on his skin to the degree that his fellow NBA players do?Ooh so its just NBA players, the commentators who mention his fathers background dont yeah ![]() When I said other black rappers look down on Drake's experiences or Eminem's - is the common factor not "other" and "rappers" showing the disdain? Is this issue not about people in the same profession? Is PP not a (former) player? The biggest debate now is about j cole vs kendrick, j cole is one of the most respected rappers in the US, no one ridicules him. Drake is a punk and deserves to be treated as such, has nothing to do with his skin color. How does it relate to journalists and NBA players both of which are usually mutually exclusive?its the burden of being exceedingly smart, most people seem exceedingly dumb so i need to be more patient. I dont blame you, not everyones reasoning is up to par. |

WeissBarlow:So when they compare Lebron James' sons to him and when they compare Lavar ball to his sons are the same situation? And you asking me how I think. Lmao! you're just confused. Doesnt that just mean they know that and they're not trying to "demystify" him as you claim? again since when has mentioning an nba players father, especially a former player been a ploy to discredit? Do you know how ridiculous you sound?Because in the context in which it is usually used - they make it sound like he got a headstart compared to other players. For example, when they want to extol SCs shooting over Allen's or Miller's they will usually say "but he does it off the dribble". It is subtle but average Joes will get it much less MENSAs. Ooh so its just NBA players, the commentators who mention his fathers background dont yeahSorry but the issue is about players disrespecting Curry. Try another spin. The biggest debate now is about j cole vs kendrick, j cole is one of the most respected rappers in the US, no one ridicules him. Drake is a punk and deserves to be treated as such, has nothing to do with his skin color.LOL. You obviously do not know what you are talking about. JCole is like Drake in being underappreciated and disrespected. He has no major awards. Few nominations. Barely called in rap convos even when he outsells and outraps many of the others that always get mentioned. JCole talks about the light-skin effect as him and Drake share commonalities in respect to having white mothers. Unlike the other guy you mentioned. its the burden of being exceedingly smart, most people seem exceedingly dumb so i need to be more patient. I dont blame you, not everyones reasoning is up to par.I could have made the same claim myself but it speaks to a person's character if he thinks a number defines his intelligence. |

Eruditor:Small fry, for the last time, regardless who your father was or how good he was as long as he has a basketball background he will be mentioned when talking about you, capiche? Because in the context in which it is usually used - they make it sound like he got a headstart compared to other players. For example, when they want to extol SCs shooting over Allen's or Miller's they will usually say "but he does it off the dribble". It is subtle but average Joes will get it much less MENSAs.So what if he did get a head start? does that take away from the end product? Nothing subtle about that, its clear and straight forward that they think his shooting is superior, only a simpleton would that is subtle. Sorry but the issue is about players disrespecting Curry. Try another spin. The issue is about why, i say its privilege, you say its complexion. i disagree. LOL. This just sums up how confused and ignorant you are. Apart from claiming j cole is disrespected (again ignoring the biggest debate in rap today, kendrick vs j cole) you went on to claim he doesnt get enough credit cause hes light skinned? https://www.bet.com/news/music/2013/08/22/j-cole-i-might-not-be-as-successful-if-i-was-dark-skin.html read that and stop talking about sh it you have no clue about. I could have made the same claim myself but it speaks to a person's character if he thinks a number defines his intelligence. It goes way beyond that small fry, it goes way beyond that. |

WeissBarlow:Context. Stop bloviating. So what if he did get a head start? does that take away from the end product? Nothing subtle about that, its clear and straight forward that they think his shooting is superior, only a simpleton would that is subtle. You mean if I say KD is great [but he has great players around him in GSW] takes nothing away from him? Stop calling people words that aptly describe you. The issue is about why, i say its privilege, you say its complexion. i disagree.I know it is hard for you but try not to be a tad stoopid. I mentioned privilege AND complexion. Seasoned journalists agree with me. Draymond agrees with me. What are you waffling about? This just sums up how confused and ignorant you are. Apart from claiming j cole is disrespected (again ignoring the biggest debate in rap today, kendrick vs j cole) you went on to claim he doesnt get enough credit cause hes light skinned?I warned you to know who you are talking to. I can reel out many of his lyrics depicting his feelings of underappreciation from his peers. So stop tossing redherrings about him saying being light-skinned helped him sell more albums (I already said he sold many albums). He also said being light-skinned helped Obama become president. Now compare what he means to what is being discussed and stop confirming that all that high IQ talk was a hoax. Edit: 2013 article by the way. Very recent. Touché. As used by a big fry. These jokes write themselves. |

It's very easy to get D. Green out. Teams are consciously pulling his trigger in a bid to get him the first tech and then work him out, either with trash talks or actions to force a 2nd technical. I think my position about D. Green on this thread is clear, you are irrelevant to your team if you are not on the court. Far too many times D. Green's erratic temperament and eccentric behavior have kept him away from the court at the detriment of the team. There are no excuses here, he either gets his emotions together or he would have a short career. |

Roland17:Are u trying to blame Draymond for what happened? Beal hit his face and grabbed his neck. So Draymond holding on to him after the hit was wrong. He didn't even throw a punch |

Hardetayour:You have chosen to analyze my post based on the beal incident versus the history of D. Green which I have maintained since D. Green came into limelight. Let me patronize your argument for a few lines, take a closer look at this video fro 2:29 and tell me what you see with Green's right hand before the Beal slap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6S2UqU6fsk |
