You're literally a 2nd class citizen without one in the west. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant.
So you've been living on borrowed money?

This is not about living within your means. This is about building and maintaining a good credit score in the west through credit card. Therefore, that allows you to do other things. You may be surviving but you're definitely not maximizing the countries full benefits.
This is the standard life of people in the West, they spend what they don't own and still brag about it grin

As i said earlier, only people with bad spending habit HATE credit cards.

The number 1 aim of every citizen is to have a house of their own,how many can buy a house cash down without CREDIT?
Nice question, most Nigerians who own houses here buy without credit. Do you now see how the West holds most of you to ransome?

So I am finally begining to settle into my new job. I have had my orientation, IT training, gotten a smartcard to access the organisation's records relevant to my work and have also gotten my ID card which doubles as a security door pass. I am in the part of England known as East Anglia, it is a beautiful place, layed back and free of the congestion and razzmatazz of London. I deliberately chose this place for many reasons, some being what the organisation is offering me and the low cost of living in this region. If I don't like it after a while, I might decide to move to get a position in a bigger city, but for now I am loving every bit of it.

Everyone around here seems nice and ready to help. This region of England is dominated by whites/natives unlike big cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester. I have managed to meet a few Nigerians though and other African nationals.

I am staying at a temporary accommodation arranged by my employer and I've already started meeting agents to get a small place for myself close to my work. They all require some form of deposits and references. Working on that...
Its a good idea for a start, very conservative area in England and quite.

You will enjoy it even more if you are an introvert
