Enter them separately exactly as summarized by WES. It'll add up automatically to two or more certs.

Hi,

Please do you have contact details for anyone that can help with verification at LASU. A colleague's verification has been pending and I just came across this post. Can you help? Thanks.

Kontagious:

As mentioned by Tee248490, LASU is quite efficient processing transcripts.

I applied for my wife’s transcript from LASU. WES updated her account exactly three weeks after the request. Considering it takes WES three business days to update account, it’s thus safe to say the transcript got to WES in 2 weeks and 2 days. Minus time in transit from that, means transcript left LASU at about the 2nd week. So, I guess your Husband’s transcript should be about leaving the school that's if it hasn't left.

Please what number can you call from Nigeria?
Here is the number: +1 (613) 944-4000. Use the combination 1111 then follow the voice prompt.

Pls do not use your cellular network credit, because you need to be ready for wait time of like 30mins before speaking to an agent. Just do a skype subscription for Canada and you call with skype.

When I call, I ask for R10, criminality, eligibility, security and visa office grin Some agents will tell you everything.

There are many online mock exams and practice tests. You can't compare real exam with mock exam. The atmosphere and tension is different. All one need is confidence and relax mind. It is not difficult to pass if one is not nervous.

I feel one shouldn't underplay the importance of practice tests. From experience (mine and a couple of friends), the real exam score we got for listening and reading was the average scores we had during different practice tests.
i.e, someone that gets 30-33 constantly in practice tests has a lower probability of getting 35 and above (in the real tests)
While someone who constantly gets between 36 and 40 has a higher probability.

True, the atmosphere and tension may be different, but acing practice tests, gives more confidence (not overconfidence o).

Best Wishes!!

As the PA, I want the funds to be in an account with my name to reduce risks. What do you think?

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Congrats to all the PPA receivers. I tap into your speed.

Oct 14 results: LRWS - 8.5, 8.0, 7.0, 8.0

Current score with crs tool is 444.

I guess my journey is gradually starting. Waiting for WES now.

Please, i have questions.

1. To raise POF, I want to sell a property. I currently have allocation letter for it. Will a bill of sale and the allocation letter suffice to support the sudden lump sum deposit into my account?

2. The buyer wants me to open an account with a particular bank for the transfer to be done within the same bank to avoid long story. Please, hope this won't pose any trouble with the VO because the account will be less than 6 months old.

3. Spouse wants to sell one of the cars. Can bill of sale and previous car papers be used to support this large sum deposit?

4. Please, do i need any other documents to support all the selling?

Thank you for your responses in advance Gurus.

TEECANN, I noticed same mistake on my ,did u do anything about it?

TEECANN:
Hello house,

Please I need your advice here.

I submitted an application for SINP yesterday but having submitting and reviewing my documents, I realised I made a silly mistake in filling SCHEDULE A- BACKGROUND/DECLARATION FORM IMM in filling NO answer for the question- "HAVE YOU BEEN REFUSED VISITOR OR TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA TO CANADA OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY". I should have filled a YES- 1 refusal for a tourist visa to the UK in 2013.

My question:
Can I quickly correct the error in the form IMM5669 and rescan and submit to immigration.documents@gov.sk.ca with an explanation? Or what can I really do before SINP begins working on this batch of applications.

Thank you.

Good day my people, I once applied for Canada student visa and I was denied, my 18years old name was not included then, due to an error from the immigration lawyer I used then, now that I intend to apply for PR can I go ahead to include her name. Since I will have to declare the visa denial and my details will be in there system.

Your writeup gives my motivation. Mine stood at 405 with LRSW: 7.0, 8.0, 7.5, 7.5. I made painful mistakes in the listening test as I was very anxious on the exam day. I took the test on the 14th October for the first time. I am gingered now to retake on the 2nd of December hoping to get an 8 in listening as well. Please what have you learnt to do differently in securing atleast 8 in the exam. I will appreciate suggestions please coz i keep getting 32 in all my practice tests. Thanks

To be honest, I was shocked at my Listening score. I expected something better. I think I mixed up the answers in the maps section (in section 3 i suppose). So i am practising maps and diagrams and other little common mistakes like pluralising words and writing in capitals where necessary. I also go back to check the ones i did not get right after each practice and learn why. Its better to make all the mistakes now.

amazing!

Feygbe:
As promised, here is my story:

- IELTS: LRSW 8 8.5 8.5 8 One attempt
- CRS: 413 ITA cut off: 413
- POF: I edited amount Post-ITA to exactly 12,300CAD and did not write LOE. Gift deed was 90% of POF from my uncle. I got the bank reference letter in CIC format from UBA, so I did not attach statements of accounts.
- NOC code: I edited the NOC code post ITA and did not write LOE.
- Employment: I used my NYSC experience from 7 years ago alone. Got a reference letter from ppa and that was all I attached. No complimentary cards or proof of payment. Presently unemployed as well.
- I submitted schedule A upfront as I had 3 US visa denials in the past.
- LOE: I attached LOE in individual placeholders as needed eg LOE for FBI PCC in Police reports, LOE for gift deed in POF etc. Non-specific ones were in LOE placeholder.

Can you have gaps in employment? YES. Can you apply while unemployed? YES. Can you edit NOC and POF post ITA? YES. Can you use a gift deed? YES. Can you use NYSC? YES pls! Was I determined? YES. Was I the most qualified? NO! The Lord looked upon me in His mercy and love and honoured me. I remain forever grateful.
My gratitude goes to Mummyjaygirls, Wura27, 40manlappy, LordSebastian, Cypha8, Temitope06, Java47 and numerous others. Thank you for replying my PMs, sending formats and answering my numerous questions on the forum. Nairaland family is the best!
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. I am glad I took that step.

Greetings peeps!

Two things please

1. this question goes to post-ITA applicants who only evaluated their Masters degree
When filling the EE profile, under educational history, I see the I can make entries of both my MSc and BSc, indicating that no ECA was done for the BSc.
I want to know though, is it necessary to enter the BSc? If I do, I hope down the line I won't be required to provide supporting docs asides certificate.

2. I concluded MSc in Dec 2011, worked from Jan 2012 till Sept 2013 on a job I'm not claiming points for. I intend to claim points for the job I began Oct 2013. I don't need to enter any information about the first job under work history since it doesn't count towards anything, or do I? I ask because I want to know whether the almost 2 year gap would be an issue down the line. I read sth on the previous thread about closing gaps for work history so one wouldn't get an ADR, or sth like that, can't recall vividly. so do gaps matter?

Experts and Semi-experts please answer.

Thank you!

The bolded should not pose a problem at all. Simply give ALL your answers in either UPPER CASE or lower case to avoid losing mark for capitalization.

This is just to encourage people not to give up. slowly but surely we will get there. God bless you all.

I personally won't encourage the bolded, I think answering in upper case is best. In the case of Nouns as answers, I'm not sure it would be wise to start the spelling with lower case. My opinion though.

U r absolutely correct. U lose mark if u start a noun with small letter. It's safe to write listening and reading answers in CAPS.

Irrespective of whether the answer is a noun or not, once you adopt the lower case style, you need to maintain it all through. The answer will be correct so long as the spelling is right.

You may confirm from British Council's website https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/prepare-your-test/test-day-advice/listening-test-advice

In summary, it's only advisable to go with the option of upper case letters for legibility for both listening and reading sections in case your handwriting might put the examiner in a situation of doubt.
