Can't wait for the petro yuan to knock the petrodollar off of its perch. The US has been leeching off of other nations for far too long and abusing the petro dollar to finance wars around the world

And thats the difference between China and the US. China in some cases exploit Africa in areas of trade but you dont see them bombing any country. If you can strike a better deal with the Chinese then you get what you want. China has built a lot of infratructure in Africa that the west can only dream about. The development of Africa has never been an interest of the west. All the aid they claim to be giving are all propaganda. No country can develop on aid, it is at best neocolonialism

How do you think they funded all the construction and infrastructure spending to move people from the rural to urban cities?

At the moment the Chinese economy is still addicted to debt and they are trying hard to transition to a consumer driver economy like the U.S.

I know someone who left a great job and life in Nigeria and relocated with his family, now he is full of regrets. He can't return cause himself and wife resigned from jobs people are wishing for. Funny thing they are being fed now by relatives cause they aren't working though they are trying to get their documents. Great mistake, and he acknowledges it.

That's just 1 family out of hundreds that have gone and made a success of it. If he needs to upgrade his credentials and skills, he should do so. If he had such pedigree, he should be able to adapt. Menial jobs should be stop gaps and not the mainstay.

What is the point of argument here. I think is to have a good standard of living.weather u live in America or Africa is not about how much u have in ur bank account. Am a senior civil servant earning below 50k per month which can not even pay my children school fees per term. My wife is as well a civil servant own over six month salary. How do u survive in this situation. I have an old man who has not been paid his pension for over four years b4 he move than to this America to have a decent life. How many of u talking on this trend can afford a good life eg 24hrs of electricity, health care facilities, transport ,road and houses. This not abt how much u have in the bank.

I wonder if the OP is one of those frustrated people who got visa denied.. well that said america is great. am an RN and earn about $7926 monthly. after taxes n deductions, my take home is about $6000. i get to work overtime at will in my job as i so desire and from overtime i make about $5000 monthly after taxes. that's in California. case closed
