How? Rudiger had no business to continue trailing dzeko, once he saw luiz and azpi closing in on him. He was supposed to move away behind dzeko and close the other freed attacker. Dzeko had very slim chance of outwitting the two in his front. Look at it well.

Look at the freed attacker that later recieved the pass from Dzeko, i think its perrotti, before he ran into that space, Look carefully and closely there is a chelsea Midfielder that was initially ahead of him(perrotti), then he allowed perrotti ran past him to exploit the space which Dzeko is about to create, he did not even close perrotti down AT ALL!!! The defenders did not mark dzeko well but then if that ball has gone in, that player there will have to share a huge amount of blame. Thats a lazy and lax attitude in a champions league night.

But meanwhile the sharp drop i am seeing in Azpi's form should be cause for concern. That was one Chelsea player i liked and could bank on to give minimum 7/10 on any day. His total lack of awareness in that move reminded me of Darmian at his worst.

I can't really blame Luiz in this particular action though. He did his job by closing down Dzeko, it is not his fault that Azpi and Rudiger wanted to do 3 is company or that Bag of Yoghurt was doing oloyun opomo.
