That's not true Oga. They accept a result from a polytechnic as long as it's HND result.
sir, does this mean a HND holder doesn't need a PGD before applying for Masters in Germany?

Hello Chichi, I have just applied for international management in a university in Germany. It is a 3 semester programme. They do not require statistics nor GMAT
.Since English launguage was your official launguage of instruction, They can waive IELTS for you if only you can provide them with a letter from your school.
NYSC isnt a prerequisite for the school, but i do not know of embassy.
Your statement of result is okay, hence do not bother about certificate. All you need is your transcript,so arrange for someone to apply for your transcript for you in Nigeria.
You will have to collect it and certify it along with other documents before sending the hard copy to them.
Wherever your funds reside does not matter, what matters is your ability to fund an account with FINTIBA with the required blocked amount which is about €8700 approximately.
PM me lets talk.

Dear all,

I have been following this thread but obviously I need help. I am interested in studying in Germany or Norway. MBA, International management, Business administration, Marketing and management. I have done a bit of research on Daad and to be frank it seems like most of the university require some knowledge of German language, and for the Norway schools GMAT requirement.

I graduated with a second class upper division (3.80) in 2015. Office Management (Business Administration).I registered to take IELTS this December.

I didn't receive any certificate from my University yet except a Statement of result. But I can apply for a transcript which will be sent to the prospective university.

Foul is I Live and work in Dubai. And my job is good. If I need to pursue this Masters it means leaving my job and maybe going home to do all the certifications and applications for transcript etc. Mind you I skipped NYSC.( is this a requirement as well)?

Some school specify that your former course of study should have Statistics which I didn't do. will this mar my chance of been accepted?

Please I need advise as to what to do.

Another issue is I have my Bank account in UAE and never transferred money back home to my local account (Zenith bank refused to send me alert so I didn't know if my money hit my account whenever I transfer. What I am trying to say is this. I have all the funds required to apply for student visa in my UAE account.

I understand I can start my application from here. I need help with schools which do not need all these certifications or school which is more happy to take students with good degree.

Your kind response will be appreciated.

Thanks

No it is not a must.

The other way is via full scholarship(the scholarship amount must be able to cover all ur study/living expenses) or having a sponsor resident and working in Germany who will provide a signed undertaking that he will cover your study/living expenses during your study duration.

BA (blocked account) funds is about €8700.

Please, kindly give the name of the scholarship or the organization that offered it as it will help to assist you. If the scholarship is from German or European organisation, you don't need to fund any blocked account.

Hello guys. I have been off this thread for a while and I really need some clarifications.

1) At what point do I need my documents to be certified. I just got a students copy of my transcript alongside other documents like my school certificate that I forward to various universities in Germany where I applied for masters in Biomedical Engineering for review. I just want to be sure I am getting this right.

2) Most of the Universities I applied for requests that if I can not make available the test of English language (TOEFL, IELTS), I can get a proof of English language proficiency from my school. Getting this document just for one school costs 10k. If I have up to 10 schools I am applying for, it means I have to pay 100k which I dont have. How do I go about this? Anyone in this situation, how did you sort it out?

3) One of the Universities I applied for requested that I apply at Uniassist (www.uni-assist.de) first before applying in the University. Anyone done this before? How does the Uniassist thing work.

Thanks guys.

Hello righthappenings;

Please would like to know.

Since your A.M dropped on 23.10.2017 and you collected your Visa on :27.10.2017

I am sure you attached a letter as regards that early release of your visa as against the seven days.
My question is this: Did they mail you(that it is ready) to come and pick it up before you go or you went there on that very date you put on your letter. Please throw more light.

I am about to apply to some advertised scholarship programmes and I needed to know this important info about finance before commiting resources to it.

Typically you will find advertised ph.d positions mostly as job offers in germany and this is what I plan to do , to contact the profs directly and hopefully I can get into one profs team.

If you can shed any more insight i will be most grateful.

Hello everyone, helpful and fantastic contributions here. Been reading as much as I can, since day before yesterday.

I'm Elijah and I'm a graduate of Architecture. Pls can anyone help with any University I can apply to, that offers Architecture Masters in English? Looks like its an Herculean task.

I've use the DAAD search engine, but can't seem to find a school offering the course in English. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all.

My A.M dropped on 23.10.2017, at first i didn't indicate my travel date when i submitted my passport, i thought the start date on the health insurance should suffice. I indicated in the mail i sent that i will be travelling on the 28th(5 days later), because my enrollment deadline was on the 30th. They asked in the reply i got, if i could coome pick it up, since my departure date was close. My brother, gladly obliged.

Sorry i didn't reply your PM, i wasn't settled.

I hope this helps.

All the very best

Hello house, I am currently in the process of creating an application on uni-assist. It asks me to upload documents (see image below).
I am guessing I am supposed to upload documents like CV and SOP, but those aren't ready yet. Can I skip this process for now? Would I be able to upload and assign documents to the application after electronically submitting the application?

To the best of my knowlege No u can't certify for someone else.

It's an express process, just make sure u have all the necessary documents u are requested to bring and don't be late .

As for price...it is free, but for each application they usually have a no of copies that is free,I think 5 or so. If u want more copies they charge,a token tho. Dont worry everything u need to know about posaible charges will be told to u in the confirmation email after u book an appointment.

Hello sweetval
Here are answers to your questions

1. You need to certify your documents before you send to uni-assist or any German university.

2. All you just need is 1 English language proficiency exemption letter from your school and certify copies of it and send to the various schools you want to apply to, with other required certified school document like to your transcript etc

3. Uni-assist is like a body that handle admission mostly for international students that want to study in germany. Most schools apply admission for international applicant through uni-assist(so I am surprised you were able to send to any school without some form of input first from uni-assist)

How uni-assist works is you first create an Account, after which you search for a study place. When you find a suitable study place(school) you then create an application on the school program you choose. Submit the necessary file online(at this point it doesn't need to be certified, but if it's certified it still isn't a problem) submit the final application online and go ahead and send in paper copies of same document(documents here are document requested by the school as prerequisite for admission. So check required doc from school program site) uploaded online.

Note that cost of application through uni-assist is 75euro for the first application for a session and 15 Euro for each additional application. These money need to be paid before your application is attended to.

Anhalt University of Applied Sciences Dessau (Bauhaus also known as DIA)
They both offer master in Architecture taught in English but a little tuition is involved (less than €1000 though) and admission is mostly during winter semester.

yes you can apply to schools without uniassit at least i have 3schools now that dont need you to go tru them and one of the school doesnt request for hard copy so its strictly for the school to decide

Hello armpit

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have this questions below

1) Please how do I certify my documents?

2) The English proficiency document the University gave me bears the name of the school I told them I am sending it to. They requested that it bears the name of the school I am sending to. I told them its not just one school and they said if I am sending to more schools, it means more money. Do I need to remove the school name with an image tool. The school name is just on the left corner of the letter.

3)How do I pay the uniassist fees?
