True and likewise in Nigeria. I don't think there is any street presently in Nigeria where you don't have a millionaire or sometimes multi millionaire. So why don't we turn this thread into a connecting avenue where Nigerians in America get contact of trustworthy people they can do business with and likewise those in Nigeria working and doing business with people over there. No need trying to act better than the next person. Success can be found in every environment

I don't have intention of quoting you or get into argument. But i need to let you know that majority of Naija in America are doing well. I mean they are living well compare to Naija state of living.

You can only go broke in America if you are lazy! Some Naija(and other immigrant from around the world) are even doing better that American citizen.
It can only be difficult in the first few months or years in America depending on your situation. But the risk of relocating from Niaja to America worth it X million

Yes you can download it to your phone of laptop via keepvid.com. Just put the youtube link of the video in the search engine. Let me even make it easier for you by adding the link to this post. These are educated Nigerians in America and they are saying it as it is. Those defending America here are jobless. They have been exposed and will stop at nothing to keep deceiving those who don't know the true story and picture of what living in America looks like. It is indeed a nightmare. Below is the link.

Their pride won't allow us to work with them. They must admit that life in the United States is as hard as experienced in any African country. We only do business with people who tell the truth and are honest, not liars and fake people

With already a trillion evidence it is still surprising that you still have any kind of argument left in you. Who gets rich working for someone? Why are you talking about workers and not the countless Nigerians running into millions who have their own business. All you guys do in America is work, work work and work. From Walmart to Mcdonald's to Amazon till you get broke down. How many Nigerians in America own their house or car? How many can buy with cash instead of borrowing? The percentage is less that 2%. Duplexes are getting built and bought everyday with money made here in Nigeria. Cars worth millions are being bought as well. People can easily afford paying 200,000 per term for their children in places like Lagos, PH, Cross River, Benin, Abuja etc. My uncle with a small business makes an average sales of 200,000 naira daily. Nigerians in America are broke and can't even be compared to Nigerians making 10,000 naira daily. Deal with it.....Friends below is a link of an article that states 50% of Americans die broke and we are talking about first class citizens. The journey of Nigeria in America has been a failure financially!

The American dream story is just an illusion built on easy access to credit. That your uncle you saw his big house and two cars is really struggling. You will understand one day.

Just when I decided to walk away from this thread then I saw your comment. Trust me It's 100% better to be in America most especially if your income is less than 500k in Nigeria.

I agree people tell lie but I will choose to live in America than any other country.

On your comment about people working in Walmart, McDonald and Amazon, let me remind you that these company will pay between 10/hr - 15/hr and minimum 40hrs work per week(do the math).

About people buying cars and home on credit, it's almost impossible to rent apartment, buy property or do something reasonable in America without good credit history.

Let me ask you a question, if like to own 2018 Toyota Camry, let say the car worth $20k and your monthly salary is $2k. That means you need to save 10months salary without touching it which is impossible but someone ask you to be paying $250 or $300 every month for five years, which one will you prefer? Same goes with house(mortgage). Single family home should start from $180k upward and it will be difficult if not impossible to raise that amount once. All you have to do is pay $900 every month which goes towards your mortgage

Above explanation is just for people who doesn't have degree in America, imagine how much you can achieve if you have education in America

Let me say this again, you can only go broke in America if you are lazy or love to live a fake life which is above your income!!!

God Bless Nigeria
God Bless America

Wao.. But we are comparing people leaving in poverty in America to Nigeria as u claimed Nigerians in us r living in poverty. What's the percentage of business men in Nigeria to civil servants? 70% of states in Nigeria are filled with civil servants and minimum wage is 18k so Oga compare the minimum wage and leave the business men out of this we have a lot of successful Nigerians doing business in usa as well.

I took my time to read the whole thread. The impression delivered here from US-based Nigerians is that they have it all good, then who are the Nigerians that are actually illegals and suffering there?

Does that mean that Nigerians are immune to the inescapable challenges immigrant faces? I live in the Netherlands and I can tell you absolutely that MOST Nigerians here don't have it good. The contention of this thread is not to feel better than everyone but, to tell the truth how it really is, doesn't kill you at all.
Good, but there's a baffling question that fuels these arguments and contentions mostly, and it is: when you people see that it's not all that rosy over there, WHY DIDN'T YOU PEOPLE RETURN HOME, INCLUDING YOU?

Funny how americans dont see their country the way Nigerians see it. Typical slave mentatlity. Americans complain more about their bad roads than we do in Nigeria. They keep renouncing their citizenship at an alarming rate yet African man won die for another man thing. Leave people thing for them, you will never fit in, they will always look you like a small little monkey
You know what? Let me tell you the truth. In America here, the standard here is different from what we refer to as standard in Nigeria. How do I mean? By American standards, there are some roads that are deemed bad roads. Some of these roads I drive on every day on my way to work. They are bad by American standard of good roads. But the truth of the matter is, if only all the roads in my state of origin in Nigeria were like that, we would be thankful and our politicians and the people will be celebrating that we have good roads. Remember, these are the type roads considered not good in the US. The roads are bad not because they have potholes. They are bad because their surfaces are now uneven with contours and patches. Not very smooth surface. So your car vibrates while driving on such roads.

Secondly, you need to be more educated on why some insignificant number of Americans are renouncing their citizenship. They do that for tax purpose. Not because of anything else. Business owners with businesses outside of the US are the major people doing that just to evade double taxation. I implore you to study more on that and get your fact right.

Timesup234, you are right, see what an American said on another thread grin

lol truuu....fantastic cruises in that Baltic sea frfr. I was just in Helsinki and Alaharma (near Vassa) coolin' for like 10 days this summer and also took in a day Baltic Sea cruise on the Tallink Ferry to Tallin, Estonia. Tallin, the capital has only 225,000 people. Very small sleepy city. Finland is soo peaceful. I gotta confess that even though an American, I seriously fantasized about moving to Finland (giving up my 6BR/4BA crib in NC and 1 acre bungalow in ATL). There seems to be no crime in Finland (at least in Alaharma and Vassa). And peep this.... healthcare is free!!! OMG we Americans pay a fortune for this in the US!!! And no random shootings and killings like here in the US I love the Nordic countries man (was also in Bergen and Oslo, Norway as well as Stockholm, Sweden). I met some Finnish and Norwegian broads while there this summer. Them honeys are gawgeous lol

Nigerians can respect western world.people of African descent are looked down in all western world even in common india.

even with your phd and lot of money in america, police can still shoot you dead and take you like a common criminal ask Davido he has been stopped many times, white americans do not like to see rich blacks, police and other white people will be your enemy.

in america, every time a black person pack to a white neighborhood, you will see some of the white packing away because they believe a black man in their neighborhood will reduce the value of their house. americans are obsessed with race, seems they are drunk on it,they do all experiment to show that blacks are stupid,iq test and others, even with the achievement of blacks in america the whites still underrate it

so why should i pass through all these troubles when i can live comfortable in lekki or ajah.

federal income tax, state tax, property tax, social security, medicare, premium health insurance, double taxation if you set up a business outside the united states and stagnant wage is the major reason why Americans are broke so what is your argumemt about?
Re: Lies Of Nigerians Living In America by Nobody: 8:10pm On Nov 04, 2017
As an immigrant in america or europe. It is extremely difficult for nigerians there in america/Europe you wont be accepted as a part of the society. There are always questions of “but no, where are you actually from?”. For instance, third-fourth generation Nigerian immigrants in Germany are still not considered as Germans.

Nigeria has a lot of loopholes for easy money making. A bank manager in Nigeria could make 1million Dollar overnight through shady deals and you will be busy calculating 1,500 Dollar for him.

Same thing in America, anyone can make 1 million overnight by robbing a bank or an armored vehicle that carries cash.

We are talking about honest living in the thread and not stealing

And what I said was, it’s not the type of what you call a bad road in Nigeria they are complaining about. Their so called type of bad roads are some of the best you have got in your state capital in Nigeria. Remember, America has the largest road network than any other country in the world. Roads are even tarred to every house doorstep. Not an exaggeration. I mean every house doorstep in America. Both with concrete and bitumen. You will drive and walk on tarred road into your living room. Is that what you want to compare with Nigerian mentality of bad roads. Nigeria will never have such roads in hundred years to come if you guys continue running the country the way you are right now. Dey there dey deceive yourself.

Reading some contributions makes me laugh. Comparing third world country to advance country like USA where real economic development and growth is obviously noticed in the lives of its citizenry and illegal immigrants and the likes to a country that economic development and economic growth is only visible on pages of newspapers. On a balance of probability and good analysis of all economic indices it better to stay in the America than Nigeria for now. Practically all income I earned is use for buying fuel to power my generator everyday, portable water and visit mechanic place to repair my car despite paying multiple taxes to government VAT, WHT taxes and Hotel occupancy, land use charge, property taxes by the state government and multiple of levies to local government.
