Their width is by wingbacks so if we play wingbacks too that nullifies that threat, we don't need to play wingers to nullify it.
Playing 3-5-2 gives us the advantage in midfield. This 2 vs 3 disadvantage in midfield was partially responsible for their struggles against Roma.

It just depends on what you intend to do in the match. With 3-5-2 we are more defensively solid and have the advantage in midfield, with 3-4-3 we have a greater attacking threat and have the advantage on the flanks.

Lingard isn't in my equation, I am okay with the defensive line, Lukaku and Rashford to start since Martial got the nod against Benfica.

Lingard is equally as good as any of the other two in a SS role. I can even say his positional sense & pressing, which is a very essential ingredient for that role, trumps the other two.

Since none of our no.10 is working, I'd go with 433

Rashford and Martial would pin their wingbacks and have spaces left by them to exploit which has been Chelsea's weak spot. 3 in the midfield( Herrera, Matic and Scott) would give us an advantage and help in keeping the ball.

Finally it is the toughest ground for us in England and I'd take whatever is the outcome.

Mourinho may go with the Trio of Matic, Fellaini and Herrera in the Midfield, then Lukaku and Martial Upfront in a 3 - 5 - 2 Formation.
