Good one. I was also going to say this about our midfield. Matic, Herrera and Mkhitaryan are slower in movement than Kate, Bakayoko. Perhaps, the reason our defenders were coming into midfield to halt Chelsea.

We are very fast at the back and front but slow in the middle of the park. If Fellaini started we could have distorted them with long balls, and if Pogba were available we could hold the ball better.

I read Lingard was about to come in for Mkhitaryan before the goal, then Mourinho changed his mind and called Lingard back. That shows he knew we needed some speed in midfield. The team will learn from this.

Quite right. We are have one of the slowest midfield players in the league. The speed at which we pass the ball around is the slowest amongst the top 6 teams. In addition, the transition from defence to attack isn't what it should be and we don't have the player who can deliver that final pass.

But we have a run of fixtures which are very winnable. If we keep up with this confidence level we'll reduce the point gap by the end of the year or even be on top.

At a point I couldn't even watch again, I just focused on my FM, and that was before the goal. There was no plan to carry the ball through the midfield to attack, as it was always long balls that unless you're Drogba, defenders always have the upper hands. The team couldn't string quality passes together and it was shameful. I know we're away and a draw which is just a point should be celebrated but I was more concerned with how we play and not just the result. We could drop points and play a great game and I'll be satisfied knowing we could have also easily have won the match, but it's not the case with Jose's team. The psychological effect of this is that the team automatically switches to defense mode when away from home against any team of average quality. A draw away from home will now be celebrated as a masterclass. I have stopped trolling shekpe long time ago because this our coach dey vex me.

I look at City team and I don't understand how the gap is this wide. Their defenders are not better, same with attackers. Their midfield is slightly better, but it just looks like this because they keep the ball and make the ball work for them. It becomes more annoying when I read things like he has a pattern that has won him numerous trophies. Na here we go dey abi next match the team will score 4 goals playing nonsense against weaker teams and we will be seeing things like master class.

He wasn't tracking Azpilicueta initially, it was when Azpilicueta kept advancing towards our area that he decided to track him.

The whole defensive set up was bad. Smalling being the centre of three man defence should never have gone out of position. If he stayed, there was no way an incoming area ball would beat him. He would even have directed the rest players to take positions. But he joined four others on the right, yet Chelsea still managed to pass us out of the that position into the middle.

It was a similar thing when Jones picked a yellow. Hazard escaped three markers before Jones hacked him down. Why crowding one player or the ball?

Zonal marking should have solved it. Three men at the back should have stayed tight leaving the rest to roam.
