same thing bro...for Redmi 4x users there is an AIO Toolkit for it...(no need for the adb part ) just single click on pc and it's all done automatically)

I just checked my updater and saw miui9 with 509MB or there about. Do I need to backup before flashing?

Don't download the incremental update of 226Mb, the nightly testing is over.

Check for update with WiFi or use the link.

without flashing u can unroot...every root binary has it's own unroot binary....
But if u root with SuperSU ..it patches ur devices boot image..if no backup...u get stock in a bootloop...
If u wish to root..I advice
U root ur device with Magisk..
Same process kstan explained above...but the part where u flash SuperSU .zip... This time around u flash magisk.zip
It's better than SuperSU

Ok, do this instead. Go to settings - Battery - Manage aops's battery usage - choose apps - select the music player (or any other app you don't want to be stopped at the background) - no restriction.


Alternatively, locking the app is a faster way of doing it, just tap the multi task button, and swipe the app down to lock it.
