In a video posted online by one Uchechi Nwigwe shows members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) are seen worshipping a chair allegedly used by the General Overseer, Enoch Adeboye.

The members are seen queuing up to touch and kneel before the chair during a service. watch below;

There are certainly things OP can not understand about the member because you look at it from canal perspective. If you ask the member the meaning of what she did, she might tell you plainly she is not worshipping the chair, but the God that anointed the man that used to seat on the chair. Her motive to God is what matters, and not the manner at which you painted the picture from canal angle.

I know OP quickly brought this here so people would join him and criticize, whatever works for them tho.. But I just respect that man Adeboye, he made a statement that sank in my brain when he came to UNN.

"A governor (Ojukwu) chased me away from this university 50 years ago, 50 years later, Another governor (Ugwuanyi) is here to welcome to me. I finally got the degree I couldn't get then..Never give up!"

Worshipping their leader's chair? Getting to uncharted territory there. Reminds one of when some Chinese worshipped the mango fruit during the Cultural Revolution of Chairman Mao.

These type of occurrences makes one wonder at times who followers of religion actually follow - God or Man.
