Hello every one,
Let the specialists help me..
My sponsor lives in France..
I wanna make affidavit of commitment to sponsorship. I planned going to court, do it, then send it to him for signing via email.
But on the other hand would it b wise to make an affidavit in d Nigerian magistrate when sponsor lives in France.. Does it appear to look like I'm exposing that d system is corrupt.
I'm actually considering submitting my application without d court affidavit of sponsorship since sponsor has already paid my 1st yr school fees. On d other hand if he makes an affidavit in France is it admissible? Seeing dat he is not from France but a temporary residence.
Please experts help me let me know d available options I have.

If they want you to fill out only one year, they will ask you to do so. They are law makers or enjoy some knowledge in the law and know how to be specific if they meant so. The question does not ask for one year, it ask for your stay. Why should you assume it is a year they asking for? The school forms filled on an IRCC forms do not fill out for one year. At least mine didn't. They fill for the entire studies. You will be wise to take cues and fill for entire studies. VOs enjoy such discretion to analyze for the entire studies and deny if you can't meet entire studies. It actually makes sense to analyze for entire studies. So going by your analysis, if a VO analyzes for only one year and applicant meets that, the rest of the other years, where do the funds come from? Does an applicant get a pass in demonstrating financial ability for prospective years of study after the first? Certainly not. The entire years of study is what is consonant to the retirements of the law that foreign student show financial ability for their studies.

Ps: the guideline you attached does not purport to say that is how to answer the question in contention by filling one year into the columns for the questions asked. It only says proof of one year is what is required, but VOs must assess for entire studies.

I'm sorry but that is misleading.

You are only required to show financial capability for one academic calendar year and not the entire duration of the course.

Every man with his opinions and entitled. I tell people to leave no stone unturned. Ably document that you have money sufficient for your "stay" as asked and give no room for a VO to deny you based on financial insolvency. Let sleeping matters rest. Shout out justwise!

To your first question, yes you can apply for a college diploma with your 3rd class because the requirement for most college diploma's is only your secondary school transcripts. At least that was the case for mine, I also sent my college my 1st degree transcripts to stand a better chance at being admitted, not that it was a requirement.
Ps: Why a college diploma in chemical laboratory technology? Why go for the program now? Why not undertake the course in Nigeria? Why Canada? How will this program enhance your career on your return to Nigeria? Do you have work experience in this field and or prerequisite courses? These and more are the questions you'll need to answer with documented proof in your visa application in order to convince the V. O that you're a genuine student because going for a college diploma is a backlog as you already have a Bachelor's degree. Getting the admission is one thing, getting the visa is another. I hope this helps you.

I want to ask if someone with a third class can apply for a 2 years diploma program in chemical laboratory technology and the required documents to process the admission

It's good your sponsor has paid your first year tuition, you may want to open a domiciliary account and have your sponsor pay in your upkeep money, I think $10,000 CAD/year. You'll need to attach proofs in form of receipts / bank statement to your visa application as well as state it in both your letter of explanation and sponsorship letter. In my own little opinion, you should worry less about an affidavit of support and concentrate on the above because these people prefer more proof, less talk.

People make life changing decisions based on what we say here so it's important that we state things as factual as possible.

There is ample time to be processed and resume in January. You have reached the most critical time of the application process, time to fasten your seat belt and start calling on the Lord. On the average review of eligibility takes a month. Good luck man!

Boss,

On your third trail which was successful, I have couple of questions.

First of all, can you throw more light on this Affidavit of return?.

Secondly, how did you go about Affidavit of return? Did you go to a high court to swear an Affidavit of return?

Lastly, how did you resolve the Travel history rejection?

Thanks.

Congratulations

Hello house, kudos to all the contributors in here
Experts in the house please help review my GCMS notes and advise on the way forward. I couldn't upload it so I will quote verbatim;

"Applicant has not provided compelling reason for study in Canada. Unclear why applicant would incur cost of relocating to canada rather than undertake a similar course in current country of residence, which would also not require her leave her spouse and two young children. PA does not appear to have previously travelled to canada and has very limited other travel. I am not satisfied she is a genuine student who will abide by the terms of the visa and leave at the end of her stay. Application refused."

Seems my strongest point (family ties) is working against me here

Also, can i get scholarships to run my msc in pharmaceutical microbiology there, and what's the employment chance and pay scale for pharmacists.thanks.

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the limited employment prospects in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
• Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

PS: Paid tuition for a term
Same sh*ty reasons they gave me too. From my notes They quoted my tuition to be x3 of what was stated after paying part of it. Order for your notes too

Sorry about the delay.
How old are your children?
Did you explain how they will be catered for in your absence?
What's your profile - job, previous education and proposed study?
